@@makingitreign3248 looks awesome! still confused....I see the chimney for the pizza oven but not the fireplace below...did you vent it out the back?

@charleshunt3199 oh sorry. Yes it’s vented out the back. It’s also just gas not a wood burner

How’s the oven temp? Is it insulated well?

Interested in something like this, but only for the parrilla. Do you have blueprints and material list?, thanks.

Depending on your urgency I could come up with blueprints for you.

Nice build. I think insulating the oven better to increase retained heat would make sense. I am also afrain of how thick the mortar is on the back side of the dome. Cutting the bricks on an angle would have made for smaller joints. Less chance of cracking and more heat retention. Also oven is in line with the bbq but it is low for everyday use. Mouth of the oven should be around chest height. Dont take this the wrong way. Dont mean to crap on your project. Its wonderful

@makingitreign3248 7 месяцев назад
Thank you for your input. The oven actually is insulated with high fibre insulation I just didn’t get that part on the video. For the oven height if it was my personal oven I would choose to have it higher but the owner wanted it a little lower for the looks. Owner says the oven holds heat like crazy for a long time. Appreciate the feedback.

Do you recommend going to frosst line under the slab of concrete? For footings…. Live in Toronto (cold climate)

I did piles under thickend slab. I would recommend it.

Why is there two rows of block at the rear? Starting from the base there is two rows of block at the rear spanning the length of the structure, curious as to why?
@makingitreign3248
@makingitreign3248 8 месяцев назад
So that the wood storage wasn’t as deep. And those walls support the the slab that the parilla and oven sit on.

Send me an email. I will see what I can do for you. I design them in grid paper and then build the interior freehand. But I could try and work somthing out for you.

I’m curious about the roof above the grill? How did you complete it, we can’t see because of the block… Also is that stackable going into the pizza oven? Looked like you bricked the oven closed…
@makingitreign3248
@makingitreign3248 8 месяцев назад
The chimney is closed in with cement slab with a 12”x12” opening for the chimney. Refractory bricks used in the oven and the chimney is in the oven opening and goes up through cavity inside behind the stone

Could I get the plans for this build?

If your serious about it I can put something together for you with all the internal work. I design them on grid paper for exterior elevations then freehand the internals. For a price I would do somthing for you.

Beautiful work guys! What gauge/thickness angle iron did you use on the parilla side? And did you run it in the front and back only?
@makingitreign3248
@makingitreign3248 Год назад
Thank you. I believe we used 3/8 thick angle iron on this project it was 4x4 with 4” thick concrete block to run over top of the openings.

Hey thanks for commenting! I do not have plans I make them up as I go. But I could possibly do somthing for you if you were really interested. The Parilla does have a chimney yes. It was added after the video was taken.
