Red I have a problem with a gp1800, top speed is 55 seems like it has no boost I check the clutch to see if it spins both ways and it only spins one way. Compression is good no boost leaks no cavitation. How can I tell if the clutch is for sure good
@@Oli-u3b check from the super charger outlet ( boost side ) up to the throttle body for a boost pipe that might have sprung loose or off . If the clutch only turns to one way then it’s okay 👌. What rpm are you getting ?
@@Oli-u3b most probably a serious boost Leak . Please let me know what you find 🙌 remember to look right under the intake manifold there is like a J - pipe . That I have found sometimes pops off of not correctly tightened .
@@Oli-u3b yamaha clutch is gear driven . But with sinthetic oils the bearings may fail . Pre warning to this is power loss . The clit h system starts jamming in the wrong places and does not build boost then .
@@Kodreanu23 we where using the OEM mags that it came with and they where faulty . So we swopped out with magpul and it works perfect now . Thank you for watching and commenting 🙌
@@Redrockat I am thinking to buy cz scorpion for IPSC, but the carbine is way cheaper than a short barrel one (400 dollars). And I am wondering is the carbine (16 inch barrel) too long barrel for PCC competition. What do you think?
@@Kodreanu23 that is a very interesting question. We shoot with some of the best in the country and one of them is a husband and wife each with a Cz Scorpion Evo 3 ( short ones ) . There are the Sig MPX PCC guys but they complain about the length of their pccs when we are shooting short courses with many in and out angles , both tall and short shooters . So it’s up for debate . But I personally like the short PCC platform. It’s quick and fast in and out of corners . Also it is very accurate on the long distance shots . If you have a 16inch barrel you will just have to train with high and low ready for corners and be just as good in my opinion . But like I said I prefer the shorter platform . The one positive for 16inch PCC is that your sight radius is much larger . But I’m not compelled to go longer . But remember I’m shooting Iron Sights . So what I’m saying is that if I go optics the length of the PCC does not really matter to me with a short platform compared to the 16 inch sight radius .
@@SEBASTIANGONZALES-zo6ps yup and it’s still very harmful to one’s eyes this . Definitely don’t try this . The eye doctors won’t condole this at all . But we spoke to him and he just said I don’t get arc eyes and no complications at all . And that he welds better this way .
@@joevroom5850 The Ski is going strong and very reliable . No complications except that we popped a bunch of wear rings . So we got the stronger wear rings and they last much longer with the power of the ski .
@@TonesZA thank you for watching . we used about 1kg of meat so that would equate to half a litre to one litre of stock . Three big potatoes because we like them very much and about 4 carrots . One can use three to four onions it’s never too much onion . Then the rest to taste .
@@silverthatchwatersports hey there thank you for the comment . We do not have the ski hooked up on a water line . The water coming out of the boost pipe is what was leaking from the charge cooler water side into the air side . The charge cooler is cooled by lake water and it can break and leak water into the air side for various reasons , so the water here is what was left over when the engine was shut down . The main reason will be corrosion in this instance here . I hope this clarifies what is happening ? Thank You for watching please like and subscribe ⭐️
I have like 15 h on mine and just lost power , engine started to run rough . I sotoped immediately and took the seats off I saw a lot of oil on the bottom of the ski . Every time I take it to the water some problem lol . What could be the issue
@@milosbozovic7018 it all depends on what all the Jetski has been through . There is an oil line underneath the motor that oil line of yours might have ruptured or is loose on one of the fittings and leaking oil.
@@hunterjohnson4993 the Jetski has a dry sump system for the oil. So in order to get a correct oil reading bring the PwC to a level position . Start the ski for 5-10 seconds on idle only don’t rev it. Then switch off and check the oil. The oil does not need to be hot . The oil level only shows correctly after starting and idling and switching off without revving it.
@@Lviv89 hello 🙋🏻♂️ The oil line also has a primer bulb and we pressurised it slowly and steadily the oil lines came clear of water contamination . Thank You for watching and commenting .
Hi bro can i upgrade a 130 gti 2019 and do you have a site for buying my parts? because in the site of rivaracing i don’t have parts for my jet or do you have links pls
@@SUIXIDEv-d8j hi 👋 thanks for watching . In this exact gti we used RXP parts . So just phone Riva and ask them for that verbally. Let me know what you find please .
@Redrockat for proper air/fuel mixture. Are you tuning your engine after as well to adjust for the air richness? I had to replace a whole manifold yesterday cause my customer probably saw your video. The throttle body ended up coming off the manifold from trying to reuse the clamp. They ended up sucking in debris to the manifold from the capillary action of the cylinders. Luckily, their engine is okay still. As a BRP dealer tech, I can not recommend this. The engineers are right on this one pal.
@@samuelswihart4285 reading this comment again I think you are out of line and need to go and look at the facts of this Modification on this PwC . What do you think the map sensor is there for in this specific setup ? You should go and research rather than making statements like this one . These are modern engines and the ecu on this specific PwC in the video will compensate for the increase in air flow completely. As an additional measure above the stage 1 , you may want to include a Riva air intake which complies with US Coast Guard Certified Flame Arrestor Regulations .
@@ryanjames5799 good question . Here before turning the ignition Key 🔑 push it in and it activates the Solenoid . So the power wire goes to the ignition switch
Hi mate is that just a rear exhaust kit from riva or have you got the pro series water box added to it looking for a nice setup for my 2020 gti170, cheers
@Redrockat yeah does sound nice 👍 around £1100 for my ski quite a bit not sure whether to just get a map and exhaust and leave the standard water box in do you reckon it would sound similar with the standard water box in
@Redrockat normally around 20/26 degrees I'm in UK when I'm out on it normally in the sea no pits I wanted to do a map but seems like the 170 is pretty much up their not sure what a different performance impeller would like, one thing iv not understood about the exhaust threw the hull is haw come the water doesn't come in and fill the inside of the hull
@@michaelgiddens3313 okay great so you are at sea level. Usually we would pitch the impeller for some RPM . I would use the stock impeller at first . Tye exhaust system has a special design that keeps the water from flooding in through the exhaust pipe outlet so you will be fine .
@@rroroso6042 there was a code indicating a problem but not every time and the ski only went up to 5900 - 6200 rpm fluctuations . Even the smallest boost leak may inhibit and crop performance .
@Redrockat thanks for answering. I got a p2279 code and the engine won't Rev over 4000rpm and I don't see any leak. I still not check the manifold. But I think it's some sensor or maybe throttle body, because the code came straight up, just with wake the ski
@@eDWArD2453 earlier models consist of when they came out first up untill the Trixx . Even though the Trixx also has leaks they already have some upgrades .
Hi i would like to ask cause i got small problem with my 951 haha. It happen to sucked a small piece of my latex gloves inside the air intake when i try to crank it. But it didnt really start yet
@@zorenzarsona9759 hello 🙋🏻♂️ yes that can sometimes happen 🙌 if it is just a small piece then I wouldn’t be too worried … it will pass through and out the exhaust eventually .
They call it the Stinger Exhaust Mod , now that brings lots of power . But the stinger systems have been discontinued . So you will have to build your own.
@@waylinvanhalen I love this exhaust and it really works well . I don’t know where you will find one but I’m sure you might be able to have a custom one made . Maybe contact rivaracing.com for some info .
@@vladimirnikonorov6555 the whole system stays flooded like this so this is a nice video on showing how long water may stay in the system . This one stayed like this for a few days .
I appreciate all your help. That’s what I’m going to do, I’m going to use the 2002 PTO housing. That way I can put the 2007 back together and have it ready to go back in. I did notice the crank sensor connectors look different between the 2002 and the 2007
Thank you for all the information. I decided to drill the hole behind the counter balance and use the 2002 engine in the 2007 speedster. I’m going to use the winter to fix the 2007 engine. Went ahead and ordered the OEM bearings for it. I may still pull the pin so I can use the 2007 PTO housing on the 2002 engine, unless you think I should just use the 2002 PTO housing
@@chrisharper4895 there is not such a big difference but the magneto and trigger sits on another place . Basically you have to use the right pto housing for that year model .
Generally we use OEM . But sometimes we go under size and use an after market one . We match the Honda b16 big ends they matches up well. Otherwise WSM have Under size as well which work well too.
If it is bone dry from new 5 litres . If you are changing out oil in a service without cranking the oil out and using vacuum only then between 3 to 3,5 litres of oil.
