Art. Music. Interviews. Van Life. Hello. I'm in the process of adding new content to my channel so please bear with me. If you are here for the concert footage, don't worry. I'm still going to be posting concert footage whenever I get to film a show but I'm going to be adding videos of me painting as well as interviews with anyone I find interesting. The Van Life topic will include various forms of mobile living such as RVs, tiny homes, houseboats, and of course vans. I'm saving for a van right now and once I get one I will be building it out so I can live in it and travel. I plan to be interviewing people within the van life community and posting tours of their vans. I know that's a lot of varied topics for one channel but I'll be using color coded borders on the thumbnails to make it easier to find the videos on each topic as well as putting them in playlists. My name is Amber and thank you for checking out my channel.
I was at this concert. It was absolutely amazing hearing them live. This was my first PTX concert after being a fan for many years. Every time I hear them sing live it gives me chills.
They're all so talented, but I'm constantly amazed by the sheer beauty of Mitch's voice. I also love these pre-lockdown performances (not that their recent concerts aren't stellar) where they all feel so equal and unified, not dominated by one certain member. I don't know what happened--changing relationships amongst the group,, maybe? --but I hope someday they'll be able to find their way back to that place.
Based on seeing them live in 2023 and the new tracks on their Christmas compilation, Matt has come into his own a great deal more than he was in this recording. He'll probably never be a basso profundo like Avi (which is probably as rare as Mitch's countertenor) but his voice has developed a beautifully warm, open tone that's very pleasant to the ear. What the commenters here might not realize is that Matt (if my math is correct) was only about 25 here, while Avi was 29. Few pep[le have their full, mature voice in their mid-20's that they'll develop in their late 20's or early 30's, and now that they've all reached that age they're making some amazing music--their old "O Holy Night" was beautiful, but the version released last year is just astounding, The one thing I don't care for in their current version of "Hallelujah" is that instead of having a sublime, unified swell of sound at the end, it's Scott singing a powerful lead with the rest of the group acting, basically, as his backup singers, something that seems to happen quite a bit these days. He has an amazing voice, but I still miss the old unity.
Little Drummer Boy the Prostitute materialism X rated version of a song about a humble poor orphan. Totally screed it up by jazzing up the song and made it nothing like the original.
Ok, I'm seeing it again today, but because I'm paying attention to Greensleeves this time, somebody please tell me, besides Scott start singing, who is the second voice who starts with him? At the very beginning? 😂 I can't see well, who's the one..
I love watching stuff like this many times because you catch something new all the time. This round I noticed... is Scott petting Mitches head?! Haha 3:13
