People care too much about what people like bobby think. He says women aren't good at chess, everyone loses their goddam minds in the comments. He says women can play chess, "oh wow he is soo enlightened!" You people are so easy to troll that someone can do it to you from 50 years ago.
Fischer was an introvert turned paranoid. A genious at chess and not very good as a person. He wouldn't have succeeded at acting. He would've been thrown out of the set many times. If you think about it, he didn't succeed as a chess player either. Sad life.
He kinda has a point. A lot of chess players sell it as a showing of intellectual ability or requiring no luck because it's a game of "perfect knowledge". Chess is really a fun board game that you could technically study and practice to become better at if you really have the passion and desire to be competitive

I unerstand people asking for shorter time but you're going to lose the link with hystoricals world champions. If you win in a serie of shorter time game you're not the succesor of Capablanca, Fisher, Kasparov, etc.. (and even Magnus by the way). Why not, but it's a little sad since the greatest players was considered the ones playing this kind of tournament.

There is a certain gentleness and innocence in his character. I remember seeing videos of him playing and he was trembling trying to grab a piece to move, his nerves were so strained he just couldn't hide it. He is a brilliant player when he is really comfortable and happy to be there. But it seems that when he is under great pressure he is sickened by it. I am unsure how this dichotomy plays out in such high level competition. i wish him great luck and peace in his life.
