I just got an email from Ni a few hrs ago saying it’s now available for beta testers ver 3.1 email also said there discontinuing support for some native instruments MK 2 devices
Maybe they expected a complete UI overhaul? If that was expectation then it's clear by the screenshot alone that ain't hapenning, I am not justifying it, just saying that's a possibility. Also note that there's hundreds of people on the beta that know exactly what's gonna happen and many are from the forum so opinions might get biased by what they already know 🤷♂Theres also been some leakyleaks... ;) Personally, I am reserving my judgment for release day but I understand why some folks could be disappointed even tho theres only a screenshot to go by so far.
@@D-One good point which is why I was careful in exposing any one person but there were many people saying several things worth me making this video. I will continue to update the Kultr as I learn new details.
One thing is sure ,, they mention stems as the big shii in the update .. that makes me worry , because stems is in my opinion a fun gimmick ,, but that can easily be done with serato sample .. I hope they upgrade the piano roll , midi routing between vsts , new performance effects , upgraded arp , warping samples in key with same tempo playable in keyboard mode / chop , upgrade browser for sounds and samples make it possible to sort key , genre , bpm etc .. I feel that NI is keeping the update expectations low .. hopefully I am wrong but I suspect the update will be stems and some smaller updates and a dark theme …
@@beatkultr true, but still a gimmick , stems algorithms when implemented in daws etc ,look at mpc still is sounding pretty crappy if compared to Ripx or serato sample ..
Insane‼️💯 Nowadays people are so used to venting their frustration online that it ends up filtering into everything they interact with. They flip out on anyone, even when you’re just trying to share the news. Sorry you had to go through that fam. Like I always say, people will be people. I’m a fan of Maschine so I’m excited to get some news at all. I hope they release new hardware with it. 👍🏿👍🏿
When you look at ableton and FL studio we need to have a more linear flow like those daws and also have some innovative things as well so they have their own Identity as well I want studio one to be a one stop shop personally
Some folks ain’t gonna be satisfied regardless of what NI would do! If by chance they were to release a new hardware version of Maschine, WITH TOUCH SCREEN, in addition to this “3.0” update… you’d still have some “simple minds” that won’t be satisfied🤨.
Ellip (sorry if i butchered the spelling) i'm gonna be hella mad if it don't support the Maschine Studio. 😂😂😂😂 But only cause they don't have a new version of Studio for me to buy!! 😂😂
@jayfkproductions876 to piggyback off u, site unseen the only thing people should be wondering about, besides what u pointed out, is what's the oldest OS is it gonna support.
Regarding it possibly not working with older models, I assume ppl are making that conclusion since NI announced ending support for Mk1/2 I saw a post from a maschine group & thought bruh those devices are super old. But despite ending support devices always still work unless a nacoss update stops supporting the drivers.. I still see folks using Maschine Mk1/2 & Studio (These 3 are Hella dis continued)

I still produce in 2.0 using my Studio and it has served me very well. I think people (I’m not one of them) are “complaining” preemptively to push NI’s hand in including the older models in updates. WHICH MAKES SENSE. NI can continue to sell their software and expensive expansions to those who have NI products - especially those of us on older models!
That’s exactly my point as well. How does people form anything in their tiny heads about something they know nothing about because it hasn’t release yet 😂
I'm disappointed it won't be compatible with MK2 Hardware. My MK2 works great and is in excellent condition. No need to upgrade unless they completely revamp the software. Adding a few features that should have already been released won't be enough for me to upgrade my hardware.
after switching Studio One to the subscription version I left this DAW, and now I'm watching the last update and I find that SO7 is trying to catch up with other DAW programs, and the integration with Splice is not attractive to me at all, that's why I don'tI regret switching to Cubase because there I pay for real progress
@@deejayvu6539 let me say, studio one was never switched over to subscription model. Subscription is an added feature where you choose if you want it or not.
Not paying for an upgrade until the automation has improved. Why pay for stem separation and per scene tempo when I can just use logic for them features and not get charged for upgrades 🤔
Welcome to our planet bro. Make yourself right at home. There’s plenty of videos to watch around here and we always go live for real time interactions with the Kultr. All high vibes around here.
I think the Drop is just the part of the song; the drop before the chorus or hook. I do like the modern interface. Maschine has a history surprising users.
"Is it worth it?" Is subjective. There's no way you can answer that for anyone but u. Just keep showing us what's new and let us figure out if it's "worth it."
Saw this the other day and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed hoping they put a zoom in/scalable/larger Piano roll. Also basic tools to work with in the arrangement view such as cut, paste, glue and renaming the clips instead of clip 1, 2, 3 etc etc and detachable windows. I like to have my mixers and piano roll on a different display. Simple stuff but effective to speed up my work flow you know
First off How the fuck you gone charge for the update, #2 where the hell is the touchscreen Maschine Mk3 & the Maschine+ come on Native Instruments yall got to step it up.
@smoovart can’t promise you that because I don’t know. But it usually doesn’t go this way. Maschine is not bundled with Komplete ever. It’s the other way around, you can expect the intro/ Iite version that comes included with the purchase of Maschine. See Maschine is the software that comes with the hardware. Those who purchased the Maschine gets the software that runs the hardware and so this update is the update we haven’t seen in years geared towards those who already own the hardware.
This is a well-balanced addressed observation, bro! Any form of negativity fuels the machine regardless if it’s on the receiving or giving end of the spectrum
Yeah I understand but lookin at it from a consumer standpoint it would've been a good look for them to give their day ones a free update to 7. As a comparison FL gives free lifetime updates, studio one could have at least given a onetime free update to show they care about the people that been rockin with them since day one and at the same time still catering to the new customers by giving a cheaper price - win win!
Well said. People take for granted how lucky we are. It cost more for a simple drum machine than it does to get a DAW, yet every release is flooded with complaints. Nothing wrong with complaints, but there has to be balance.
I don’t understand why NI doesn’t just make a full DAW. Considering the Maschine software has been out along time and they’ve laid the groundwork. Missed opportunity to have a daw that integrates their whole ecosystem.
tahts what i was hoping for, so i can record vocals in it like a normal daw instead of going to other daws for it. You can record in Maschine but its really clunky and a afterthought>
Reason & maschine always disappear for yrs then theyll jump up & be like oh we're still here lol. Both are great products but akai is always trying to better their products
I see a lot of people like the Launcher, imma have to see a good video demonstrating the purpose of it because to me it look like the scratch pad & I never found a use for that.
