Love your channel. New subscriber here. One of the best trucking channels I came across. Natural and genuine. I had to come to this video to be able to leave a comment because the newer ones are “made for kids” and won’t let me comment on them. I started watching a couple of your videos just today because I will be driving trucks soon, with my friends pulling containers and dry van for Amazon. I love computers and tech, but also cars and trucks. I came across your video looking for reviews of the Mack anthem and very little content is out here, and every owner says they are great trucks, specially the MP8 equipped. This channel deserves more views, from what I saw, you have a Son and a Wife that became a driver because of you, 🙏 that’s nice. Also love your garage. (I know you probably don’t need the views, and you are here to spread good information about trucks and cars) but just saying, with all due respect sir., If your son can help you with the channel, he is probably great at this, not sure, it can grow a lot, and one thing is, when you click on your video settings before uploading it, the section that marks with a dot, the “MADE FOR KIDS” it disables comments and other features. Also I believe the algorithm doesn’t recommend it to the right public. I used to make my videos and select “Made for kids” because of the clean content I upload about computers 🖥️ etc. Except some games rated R or PG-13. Love your videos. Just bought a used Mack Anthem. Please keep the videos coming. 1 thing I noticed is my hood rattles pretty good on bumps. Any ideas on a fix for that? Thanks in advance.
@@TruckDaddyLogistics yes. I slide the metal sleeve that the hood latches to up high wrap gorilla tape around the rod it slides on, then let it cushion it. May have to replace it every 3 months. Stops the rattling.
Im on the market for a new truck. Looking into a 2019 anthem with 400k miles. The price is great just under 40k. Any issues that you know about with the def ?
But isn't that mirror used so you can see the blindspots? Ive almost been hit a bunch of times by big trucks that don't seem to be able tos ee me on the right side. I'm thinking its because of this mirror@@millsmotorvation
I purchased a pinnacle resently, as long as you have the over head ran they perform great. Most people never do that. The pinnacle had 455,000 miles on it, was asking for a regen every 300 miles. Had the over head ran, and it hasn't asked for a regen since.
The Pinnacle has the same engine. It's probably a matter of maintenance. Check out my last video, I give information on things most people don't do to keep diesel engines running properly. Thanks for the views.
Holley kit from summit, I weld the hot side myself. Keeping stock manifolds, and using some bends to get turbo under the hood. Fan from a 96 cougar...ect. walbor in tank 400 pump.
2019 I purchase new have caused a few issues, lights,fuel pressure system,wipers, The quality control is lacking vs my 780 volvo purchase in 2013. Good luck on your health I’m 63 stop eating bread and drink only black coffee, no soda. A few chocolate bar just for a little sugar taste. Try to walk a little. Be Bless.

ive noticed only non mack drivers have bad things to say about mack every person ive seen who owns one swears by them so thanks for your content i was on the fense about it but mack is def the choice for me best looking thing on the road aswell

I basically used the stock manifolds, because there's no room in the Body to work with. Ran 2.5 stock pipe to a stock style Y, then ran it up to the engine bay. Those after market headers are price high. I just chose a turbo with a small exhaust housing, and it spools quickly!

The ride is very similar to the Volvo, I think it pulls good. I believe they share drive train. The interiors seem to be better quality with the Mack face lift.
