We are Kyle and Nicole. We love many things and traveling is our passion! In 2020 life directed us to buy a travel trailer and since then, we have been traveling around North America visiting awesome areas and making videos to share with the world!
For several years, I regularly drove the Million Dollar Highway with a 2WD truck and a 26' gooseneck livestock trailer. The rig had a GCW of over 22K lbs. I drove the highway in all 4 seasons--in blizzards, snow, ice, heavy rain and avalanche and rockslide threat. Counting driving it also in cars, pickups, SUV's and 4WD's, I've probably driven that highway close to 1,000 times. A friend of mine beat me--he drove that road on a delivery route 5 days a week for almost 30 years. So, yawn . . .
WOW! That road is nothing to you guys! I couldn’t imagine it in the conditions that you have experienced. Kudos to you! Us flatlanders are not used to that!
Yea/No. We just got back from an Arizona, NM, Utah, Colorado trip. On one of the thin, windy roads by the North Rim of the Grand Canyon My RAM 2500 drivers side mirror smacked into the driver's side mirror of another RAM 2500 going in the opposite direction with loud noise and shattered glass that woke everyone up (we were not hauling our Airstream, just driving). The driver going in the opposite direction was on the drop side of the road, and just a bit too far into the centerline of the road. No injuries, just broken mirrors. Later on, we were driving up the Colorado National Monument near Grand Junction. Again, not towing our trailer, but a sheer drop off and no guard rail. I could not continue. we got as far as the first spot we could safely make a U-turn and went back.
@@kyleandnicole My mirror was fine. It just popped up on the hinge with a small ding. The other person's mirror exploded. My truck is a 2023 and we love it. I get 21 mpg when not towing, averaged 13 mpg across 6500 miles towing my airstream. Pretty good for a diesel
Amazing place to camp with.such neat rock formations. You always include such helpful information like how far away the gas station is.. Congratulations on getting over 1K subscribers!
@@kyleandnicole I think you did fine but Id like to see it more solidly strapped without it rattling against the strap the hole looks a little loose the copper and the flare was perfect . looking for 20 years lfe on that strap
I had a part Clyde, part Arab, strange combination, she was stocky, like a miniature Clyde, fine nostrils, like an Arab and skinny Arab legs, and she could jump a nine rail fence. the people that owned her noticed she could jump anything, and they would go one the other side of fence with oats and get her to jump. great idea, we got kicked out of four places because she would jump out and go wherever she wanted, finally found a place that had horses she like, she was only 14 2 hands high.
