Wow, I hate MRI too. I had my pelvic MRI one month ago. With contrast, it took me 30 minutes. But it's very helpful. For me CT was much worse. I hate the drink, they gave me.
Hi was your head out the machine at all and did you go into the scanner feet first? I’ve got a scan next week same as yours and I’m so claustrophobic I’ve had mris before and since the last one where I had a bad experience I don’t think I can tolerate it 😢
Thanks had a hysterectomy 4years ago had an Mri 2years ago stillbhaving on going back and abdominal pain .I am claustrophobic because of the trauma in state care as a kid yes claustrophobia is real can't go in a lift any closed space .The problem was the tech 1 was amazing said he'd be right there feet 1st .Thought it was going to be a slow process gave me the squeeze thing to alert them started slow she's talking to me then she says idk about you but your going in I was terrified when they pulled me out she laughed said nowvthats that laughing and I decked her not my best time but I was livid now I have to have another somewhere else go figure

The Latin American Airlines are LAZY! LATAM airlines is worse. No pre-departure drink and then about 75 minutes into the flight for the first drink! And there was no turbulence. Stale bread. They really are honing the stereotype
The hysteroscopy will make the MRI seem like a breeze. Just had my second hysteroscopy. No local anaesthetic in my cervix for the second one. Very unpleasant to say the least. How did yours go?

Great review. We are also regular business class travelers. I appreciate all of the detail you provided. I just booked a flight from La Paz, Bolivia to Madrid. Sounds like we're going to get the same type of service. Nothing to write home about, but the price was right and the timing of the flights (only one stop in Bogota). Other than the seat this is not business class. In and out of Colombia to or from Europe either take business class in one of the European airlines or if that is cost prohibitive their PE offerings
I went out with a Colombian woman for just over a year. Her mum one day asked her if we’d ever had an argument, and she told her that we had only ever argued once whilst using the Avianca website. Her whole family fell around laughing, because apparently everybody fights whilst using the Avianca website 😂😂😂😂 I explained to everyone that in Britain this isn’t the case. In Britain, all couples have their first fight whilst walking around IKEA. Joking aside, thank you for the video. I’m travelling to Chile via Bogotá, and it’s about £400 less to use Avianca than using KLM. And the flights are shorter. It’s correct what you say, that the space is the important thing. Let’s face it, we can buy great food and champagne anywhere that we want much more cheaply.
I couldn't fit into the dang machine and got stuck. I said to the tech I should go feet first but he sniveled it would be too much effort for him to change things around. After he and his assistant pulled me out, I didn't say a thing, and simply looked at him. He said, maybe we should put you through feet first. I kept looking at him and sat down the other way around.
Your review is great insight. I am currently planning my flight from South America back to Europe and Aviancas business class for some reason now is about 2x cheaper than other airlines. Not totally sure but seems like it is "properly" priced for the service you get on board

I have to agree with everything you’re saying. I had one 2 hours ago and had to research it and that’s how I found your video. I had the exact procedure done, which seemed like an hour but was really a little over 30 min. When it was over I said to the techs wow that was intense. I’ve never been so uncomfortable lying on my back they had my left arm on my chest holding the panic button and all I wanted to do was put my arm down. Hearing the tech telling me thru the earphones how long the new noise would be just make it seem like forever. Every time it started again it was a new noise.

I was there in transit waiting for my trip to New York City 🏙. Avianca vip offered low lunch meal in that time, but I chose El dorado lounge because offered buffet service for me and family

there is a 25 mile limit on how far from the club you can take the boat, you can't get the boat earlier than 6am, and on weekends you can't have a whole day. this is not conducive to someone that wants to be able to go offshore fishing. the boat has to be brought back to the same club daily, so no traveling. Ask how you cancel the membership, .its not in the literature.
YES!!! Space matters but I cannot afford $5K business class on Delta. I got an Avianca business class seat for $2500 from LAX to Chile. According to their press release everything came back to pre-COIVD levels. I don't drink, don't need towels, socks, etc and I can bring my own food but I cannot fly in those economy seats. If I have too, I buy two economy seats. Thanks for your vid!!!
My sentiments exactly. Lie flat priority # 1-5 and if possible comfortable lie flat with little noise or disturbance. Anything else is gravy so to speak and like you pointed out the cost is awesome $ 1700 one way Orlando to Spain vs $ 3200 on most other airlines.
Avianca is a great airline if you did not know Avianca had a difficult time during the pandemic they have provided great service to me, all of the things that you said weren't provided in your flight Avianca has worked very hard during the past few years to provide for it's passengers I think you should give it another chance because the service has changed to a 7 star airline.
And your video is really helpful to show that the new Avianca can’t even provide hot towels, print menus or pre flight drinks. They new managment is beyond cheap and we customers who don’t pay little for the fees don’t even deserve that.. thank you New Avianca to show us little respect as custumers that we don’t even deserve a human living person in your call center. The old excuse of “because of covid” doesn’t add anymore.
Hot towel service might have been a reduced product as a Covid protection measurement. As far as I know, most airlines did this with hot towels up to summer flight program at end of March ‘23
I have always loved Avianca since it is Colombia’s flag courier for more than 102 years. That said, it is REALLY BAD what they been doing lately with the name brand. Of course it is no own by Colombians anymore and whoever owns it doesn’t give a flying BURRITO about good service. They dare not to even have a HUMAN to attend the customer service. I bet what they want is to bury this company for good😢. Shame of you, I hope some Colombian investors read all the bad comments from people and buy this airline back to rescue 🛟 it. Shame of what you are doing to the crew, the airline in general and to the 102 year legacy.
