best way to make money through player sales is to actually succed in football, ofc the owners are investors who want their money back with a profit, but it goes hand in hand with us being successsfull as a football club, they had to change the whole squad, I can name something wrong with every player who left the club, Mount, the wages he asked for were ludicrous, and you saw that he is nowhere near worth that in Man united Havertz, requested a move and jumped ship once we didn't have CL football, and his level is nowhere near the guy we replaced him with, Cole Palmer, Pulisic/ injury prone player who wanted out Rudiger/Christense: refused to renew and went out on free agent because they wanted to be part of Barça/Real; and left us when we needed them the most Kante: even though all of us love him so much, he was barely playing, and on high wages, we had to separate from him Jorginho: a 32 yo guy with 6 months to free agency who wasn't as good of a player to start for us. I am not saying the owners are incredible, but you are so biased against them, they tried to sign good players, snatched so many great talents, if Real is praised for Rodrygo and Vinicius, so should be this board for Paez and Estevao, not to mention Santos, Casadei. they went out and signed Caicedo and Lavia, probably the best uprising CDM stars in the PL, (after Rice and Rodri; no player in that post is better than them) what profit would they make on Enzo, Mudryk, Caicedo, Lavia, Cucurella, Sterling, ? if the only thing that matters is profit, they wouldn't have bought such expensive players
I’m not buying a single jersey until the ownership changes. Or any other merch. I’d boycott the matches if I lived in England. Boycotting may be the only way we get our club back. This club belongs to the fans.. without our support, this management can’t stand on its own.
The person who did this video, somehow is completely unaware that Football teams have a better development / academy system than the MLB farm system. They also have a global talent network.
If new American owners Behdad Eghbali and Jose E. Feliciano and not just Todd Boehly, are the real power at Chelsea FC (after the 19 years of Russian/Israeli Roman Ambramovich rule the government forced a sale), then that is worryingly serious for fans. Roman Abramovich developed a clear infra-structure and strategy for Chelsea FC, spent £Billion of his own considerable fortune, ruthlessly demanded success from head coaches: +Thomas Tuchel Frank Lampard +Maurizio Sarri **Guus Hiddink +Antonio Conte **Steve Holland +Jose Mourinho +**Rafael Benitez +Guss Hiddink +Roberto Di Mateo Andrea Villas Boas +Carlo Ancelotti Ray 'Butch' Wilkins Luiz Felipe Scolari Anram Grant +Jose Mourinho Claudio Ranieri and saw Stamford Bridge home stadium trophy rooms chock full of 2xUEFA Champions' League 2xEuropa League European Super League World Cub Championship 5xEnglish Premier League 5xFA Cup 2 League Cup Community Shields some glorious wins 'Clearlake Consortium' have spent £Billion and sacked 5 head coaches: Mauricio Pochettino Frank Lampard Graham Potter Bruno Saltor Thomas Tuchel In 2 years, ripped the heart out of the club destroying its infra-structure and delivered absolutely bugger all! They just want a "Yes" man and clearly don't know anything about ** interim/temp coach + trophy winner
What amuses me is how apparently, as said at the start, raine group chose not the highest bidder but the ones who wanted the best for the club. What a load of nonsense that was. Also they had the nerve to make out that abramovich had a say and specifically chose clearlake as the new owners. Aside from being primarily financially driven, why would a Russian want a bunch of Americans to take over his pride and joy?
Chelsea recruitment strategy in the 2000's buy cheap wonder-kids from Africa like John Obi Mikel, Gael Kakuta etc or proven players from lower leagues like Portugal or france: Bosingwa Carvalho Feriera Drogba Kalou. Chelsea recruitment strategy in the 2010's buy Wonderkids from Brazil France Germany Spain Belgium etc: Debruyne Lukaku Hazard Marin Schurle Oscar Mata then sell them for profit to fund purchase of veterans like Fabregas Kante Costa. Chelsea strategy now: buy people no one has heard off.
So well put bro. Just as it seemed there were some signs of stability, we've completely dismantled it. HAVE YOU SEEN THE NAMES WE'RE LOOKING AT TO REPLACE HIM??!
Bruh did ya all see the game vs forest last week? Poch cooking something with gusto and james Gusto become more inverted winger? Replacing madueke, and James become overlaping rb That was amazing, especially gusto holding a lil bit deeper to help defending the midfield and james with beautiful assist to Jackson
When the argue for using yougsters come up, I know this analysis has been a little bit of a stretch. This is completely against your previous argument, where Chelsea's young start are not covered enough. Most teams only introduce academy players when their starting XI is strong and STABLE enough so that they could hand-hold the new players through the process. Imagining you rush into play a youngster, who's then being destroyed by the opponent, their confidence would be long gone for like forever.
Exactly 💯 u on point caz y tf would u let kante, jorgi and kova? Who caicedo and enzo and conor gonna learn from? If they at least keep them for one more season this season would be different
Issue is physios and medical staff wont matter with players like james and fofana getting injured 2 weeks after they got hired. Their work takes months and years Also their work doesnt affect buying players injured (nkunku, lavia) Where they matter is decisions to return players to action and longterm fitness. The main issue is young inexperienced players who all are thrown into the most physical demanding league at the same time you buy players with injury records (nkunku lavia, chillwell, fofana, madueke, gusto, cqicedo)
I honestly think Chelsea’s training/recovery facilities are so poor in comparison to a Man City or Real Madrid. If the owners invested 200m into Medical/Physio departments instead of 16 year old potential superstars Chelsea wouldn’t be in this mess. The Cobham gym literally hasn’t been renovated since Abramovich’s takeover, it’s embarrassing.
