We set the standard in performance, versatility, and comfort for golf, utility, and personal transportation vehicles so to inspire enjoyable experiences on and off the course.
We continuously draw from our 60+ years of motorsports roots to create industry firsts-we were the first to develop Electronic Fuel Injection for a golf car (resulting in the best gas mileage with the smallest carbon footprint); the first to create a golf car with fully independent four-wheel suspension for the smoothest ride in the game; and the first to develop the QuieTech gas engine that is almost as quiet as an electric motor.
As the Premier Partner and the Official Golf Car Company of the National Golf Course Owners’ Association (NGCOA), the Title Sponsor of the NGCOA Yamaha Golf Outing, and the 2018 Golf Digest Editors’ Choice for Best Gas-Powered Golf Car, our vehicles remain the standard-proving time and time again why Yamaha is The Easy Choice™.
Two questions: When is this going to get a higher power Li battery so it can more than 30 miles (hello, The Villages!!), and when will Yamaha make Lithium available in their Adventurer 2+2 PTV lineup? Yamaha sure is bulletproof, but they are not on the cutting edge of tech and offerings. Kinda the Toyota of the industry, years behind what Sea-Doo or EZ-Go offer.
Now I wanna ask are they any differences between a 2020 UMAX Range Picker and a 2024 model year? Because we now have 2020 Yamaha Golf Carts at the golf course I work at. But very soon like the end of February. That we are getting new fleet of Golf Carts including a new UMAX Range Picker. Part of my job there is the pick up the balls at the driving range. I know the design is pretty much the same but is they have differences like with the motors? And are they like any new features that the 2024s have from the 2020s?
my yamaha electric polaris came with old batteries , they replaced them and after using it for about a year or two is dead, tried fixing it but all the electronic parts are covered with about an inch or hard resin, what a waste..
I have a new ('22) Yamaha Drive2 PTV with Li power. It makes a clunking sound upon deceleration or no-load situations like going down hill. Do you know what this is and how I can get it fixed?
Purchased the cart with Trojan-875 AGM maintenance free batteries. My range is at minimum 60 miles and top out at 20 mph. You would think with Lithium the cart being 300lbs lighter it would go further.
Amazing product and the leading brand of Golf Carts in the world! Every conceivable application that you can imagine Yamaha Golf Carts has a solution for your needs!!
Hi Kostas, we're a Yamaha golf buggy dealer located in the UK and it is very straight forward to convert a Drive2 two-seater into a four-seater. Most Yamaha dealers should be able to do this for you. 👍
Bought it and is great overall… but the range is actually 28 miles. Learned from Yamaha only after we purchased with a big selling point being the increase in range.
Forklift Nations’s amazing custom build Yamaha Golf cart powered with BigBattery Eagle Lithium Ion Phosphate batteries replaced 496 lbs. Trojan T105 for only 38 lbs. per battery. Do you leave the charger on even after the battery is charged? The instructions on the charger say to disconnect charger when fully charger. I have a 2012 Yamaha YRDE.
There are some questionable claims in this. At 8:15 there is a claim to have the largest bagwell that EZGO RXV has a strong claim to. It is fairly easy to prove - remove the Yamaha access panel and set it inside the RXV bagwell. You'll see that the EZGO is wider and has a bigger footprint especially where Yamaha has a bump in the middle to clear the powertrain.
Wow.... I am a life long Yamaha fan... motorcycles, wave runners’ and yes, two Drive 2’ golf carts. This guy just unsold any potential customers.... what a shame as my two Yamahas are three years old and have been flawless. My kids take them on the beach, rough them up and they still look and run like new. Where the hell did they find this idiot?
Like all Yamaha products this is among the best out there. However they are slow as they come from the factory. If you’re looking for a high quality Golf-cart/LSV, take a look at the Tomberlin LSV/Golf Cart line. They come standard with a few features not even offered or available on not only Yamaha, but many others at any price point. Like four wheel hydraulic brakes with slotted disks up front, automatic parking brake whenever you come to a complete stop. DOT Safety Glass tinted windshield with wiper, power steering, adjustable coil-over 4 wheel suspension, independent in front. Standard side and rear view mirrors, with a 7” touch screen, with speedometer, odometer, backup camera screen, all LED lights, with turn, park and stop, plus high/low beam, with automotive style locking steering column with forwards and reverse control and high low speed controls at fingers reach near the steering wheel. Plus all come with a 17 hp 48v AC motor, 450w controller, 8, 6 volt Trojan Deep Cycle batteries and built in Qi 4000 charger. With Lithium batteries coming soon! I bought my 2018, three years ago this month, I have just under 5,000 miles on it! With only three warranty issues taken care of in the first 8 months! A steering universal stripped its splines, that was repaired within days, plus the built in Charger was replaced after it cooked the batteries, that were also replaced, all within days and just one trip to the dealers. Since then I have just plugged it in every night and go out every day! Going from pool to pool and all over the Village where we live in a beautiful 55+ community. I can cruise at 25 mph just feathering the GO pedal, with a top speed of 26-27 mph depending upon the temp and charge level. But I have enough power to maintain 25 mph, on any hill I’ve came across! With more left to pass! Plus there’s no Cart in the area that can out-run mine! Other than one of only 4 other Tomberlin Carts so far in the neighborhood! All for the same price as a Yamaha! With a 5 year warranty on the Cart, so I still have plenty left! I do plan on trading mine in on a new Tomberlin in a couple years, for a new Lithium Battery type.
Respectfully speaking sir, I think that the bucket next to the sand bottle is actually a cooler. Why would you need two sand containers? I have the same setup on 4 carts and there is a cooler and sand bottle on each exactly like these. I suppose if you don't need a cooler you could have 2 sand holders. Or put a cooler in the basket, which is rather inconvenient to access when bags are on the cart. ?????
Ok, not to take away from the Yamaha, I believe they are overall the best carts built, but a cart nonetheless. See I don’t golf, but I do live in a sizable 55+ community thats 5 miles by 6 miles, with two 18 hole courses around us, plus 14 pools, two gyms and all kinds of shops, drug store, theater and stuff to do with a cart, or as I have a LSV. Yes I came very close to buying a Quiet Tech II, but had questions about the top speed and from what I was told, 20 mph was it? So over time waiting for our new home to be built we were traveling all over Florida with a travel trailer, which brought me to many cart dealers to test drive all types. Until I found a 2018 Tomberlin SS Coupe, 48Volt ac cart. That had features no other cart has, like power steering, 4 wheel hydraulic brakes with front disk brakes! Independent adj. coilover front double A arm suspension, with trailing arm coilover rear suspension, DOT safety glass windshield and wiper, all LED lights, hi low beam, turn, stop an 4 way, plus third brake light. Three way seatbelts with steel tubular roll bar and windshield frame. The hi/low speed, FW/RV controls up near the key that placed like in a car, locks the steering column. But the best is the speed limit of a quick to 25, with 26,27 at times, on the speedometer that also comes standard. The 2020’s have a backup camera! All with 8, 6 volt Trojan T-105 Deep Cycle Batteries, a 450 amp controller with a 17 hp AC motor. That has all terrain 245/50-12 radial tires, that helps the cart handle like a go cart! I get compliments all over the area! In the 2yr 5 months and 5,120 miles so far? The only problems were the splines in a steering assembly universal stripped, that was replaced under warranty at the factory in Leesburg, Fl. Along with the on board charger, with the hew style Bluetooth charger I can monitor on my phone. But it has run fantastic since then!
The level of specialists L1 Technologies is very low, it is not clear how bushnell golf(GPS devices EXEL, ION2, Phantom GPS, App), motocaddy(GPS App , GPS Trolley and GPS Sensor Trolley 2020),TecTecTec (UlTG), Powakaddy (GPS devices and App) and the Yamaha(Yamatrack, YTX, GPS Devices for control Golfcart AC and Gas versions) were order development of devices and mobile applications from them. Developers are engaged in theft and copying of branded electrical and GPS devices while presenting the development as their own. Also, the main boss turns out to be violates for women as evidenced by several lawsuits from women against him in the USA! I will not advise this disgusting company. They periodically open a new company, probably to make a rebranding, since there are no orders at all, the last company was opened under the name Pixels Matter LLC, which is essentially the same as L1 Technologies. #l1technologies #pixelsmatter #bushnellgolf #motocaddy #tectectec #powakaddy #golf #golfprofessionl
