Thank You. Because of your excellent video I have made my buying decision and am going to Walmart to purchase this trimmer with the blower as a kit. Thank you again for your help and an excellent video of showing real world working and results.
Hey I used mine for just 10 minutes and the line is shorter now. It’s a brand new greenwirks trimmer. I tried bumping it as I trimmed, but the line is still short. Does that mean I need to replace it with new lines?
Thanks for the info man! I have the same trimmer, mower and blower as you and absolutely love them. Just ran out of string for the first time and had no idea how to reload it. Just one question. Is there a reason you prefer .08 string diameter over the .095 that it comes with?
The line in feed doesn't work. I have never had a problem with any weed eater before, not once. The Fing thing doesn't even have a corresponding hole on the opposite side. You have to hand wind it like the ones made in the 80s. In fact Costco here quit carrying it after 50% of purchases were returned.
You are a genius! I was about to break my weedeater to pieces. You made so much sense and were easy to follow and understand. I love Greenworks! I have the 60v backpack blower and the 60v weekender. They are workhorses and last forever! Thank you so much!❤
For the last 18 months I've not let the lawn crew edge or use a weed eater in my back yard. ru-vid.comUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG I didn't like the fact that they just kept cutting the edge of the lawn further and further from the rock lining the flower beds and leaving bare ground. And the grass was trimmed or scalped several feet around trees, etc. It was a constant battle with them so I told them to just mow and no trimming. I have Zoysia grass so it grows pretty slow. Obviously after a while it could use some trimming. I'm in my 80's so I can't do much of it myself. Finally I decided that if I could find a lightweight battery powered trimmer I might be able to do some light trimming. I decided to buy the LST201 20V trimmer. And it works great for my needs. I have back yard with about 150' of flower beds and several trees to be trimmed. I can lightly trim the whole yard with a single charge! The grass I trimmed was only a few inches high but the trimmer was more powerful than I expected.
Dude!!! You are the f@#$!%= man!!!!! My buddy that owns this same weed wacker would take it to the small engine repair shop and they told him they'd have to keep it overnight in order to restring it and it would be 80 fu$#@%= dollars??!! Can you believe that bullshank . Anyhow I would like to thank you again for educating all of us!!!!! YOU ROCK BROTHER!!!!!!!
You just saved my marriage, and probably some money, as my hubs was about to hurl the string trimmer into the swamp behind our house. The instruction manual wasn't as clear as your video - now the trimmer is working perfectly and my hubs is a happy man. Thank you!!
Can someone help me I loaded it right with the string I believe I just cannot when I tap it. It doesn’t pull string out with anybody know what may be the problem.
No, you haven't. The way he showed you should work, but doesn't. I couldn't get it, my buddy who owns a landscaping business was about to smash it. I asked him to show me, after 45 minutes he said " return it" . I did. Costco quit carrying it because 50% of people returned it. I also returned the Greenworks 80V mower because the battery lasted 4 mows, It came with a free extra battery, that one never charged once. So after 6 weeks I had 2 dead batteries that won't charge.
@todayilearnedsomething8105 Sorry to hear but this hasn't been my experience with Greenworks products. I've been going strong for 2 years using 4 tools including mower. I'm very satisfied with them.
