I love what you are saying about using Stroke & Coat as a flux. (I've been hand building for 1 year, but I'm an illustrator)... I wanted the movement of flux, but when I looked, Mayco had Light Flux and Dark Flux, but I didn't want my pieces to be whiter, or blacker, I just wanted them to run more... So the bright colors of Stroke & Coat sound like a fun glaze to use on other glazes QUESTION: what is the difference in putting the S&C UNDER a glaze vs OVER a glaze (for example, the new Amaryllis glaze, with S&C OVER or UNDER it? Do you had a pdf file in good resolution of the 2 color charts you show at minute 9:40, comparing Stroke & Coat colors cone 06 to cone 6? How can I get that high resolution pdf file? Thank you. Etana in Florida
On your Egypt Blue/Reactive White terracotta plate - 1) Did you put any clear glaze over it on the top side? 2) Did you also use the brown on the rim? 3) if you do not glaze the bottom with color, would you put clear over terracotta bisque? What other glazes does the Reactive White work to make an interesting pattern? Would it work with Ocean Mist or Jadeite?
