What bothers me is when someone wonders if their choices for their home will go out of style. EXCUSE ME! My home will be what I enjoy having around me and puts a smile on my face. Not what someone else decides what the trend will be. Let your home be your choice and not someone dictating what you should do. They don't know you. Make it your home.
Hallo 😃! 🤔 i'd say 97% of my furniture and deco is trash ( thrift and curbs). A few weeks ago i, again, found a piece of trash. Someone had declutterd an apartment. It's a Dino Martens tutti frutti vase, murano . I ❤ tidy guys , who hate clutter 🤣. Beautiful pictures but never follow Fashion, follow Passion. Be yourself and don't lose yourself. Greetings from Germany 🤗 alex
Hey Alex! What a great eye you have for treasure in the discarded! Your recent find, the Dino Martens tutti frutti vase, is truly remarkable. Your philosophy of prioritizing passion over fashion is inspiring, stay true to yourself! Greetings from wherever I am, and may your home always reflect your unique style.
For those who say clutter....NEVER GO INTO STORES...for surely you must hate it there. An accumulation of CLUTTER for you to choose from...from furniture, foods, housewares, clothing, etc. CAN YOU IMAGINE just a few things to choose from! .
Thanks for the lively comment! It's so true, stores are full of amazing options, just like a well-loved maximalist home. Everyone has their own style, and that's what makes design so fun. I'm glad you share my love for all things eclectic and beautiful

What words? They are tacky. So are resentful folks who wouldn't know art if they fell over it. Enjoy your joyless dirty blank walls and your bare boring life. I feel so sad about your empty ugly home . No joy ,just blah. Enjoy Live it!
Maximalism is about celebrating diversity in design and expressing personal style through curated decor choices. It's not about hoarding or clutter, but rather creating rich, visually stimulating spaces with intentional and meaningful elements
@@decor_deluxe_ You tell him darling.I'm all with you people who see Maximalist, as hoarding or whatever they just have no taste or they just prefer minimal. And that's fine too, but I am here for all. The maximolus eclectic beauty that is in the world. I'm not just 1 person likes to see a bunch of white space. Yeah, I'm not a white noise person. You know, put on rain channel, that's my angle. I'm with you, sister or brother.Whoever's running this song with you
@@lisamolinarThank you so much for your support and understanding! It's wonderful to connect with someone who appreciates the vibrant, eclectic beauty of maximalism just as much as I do. We each have our own tastes, and that's what makes the world so interesting. I also respect and admire all other decor styles. I'm glad to have you on this colorful journey with me.
You obviously own nothing of value. I have 120 years of antiques. Not junk store finds like the tacky thrifts. Sorry that you're lacking anything. Be a minalmist but don't call down your betters for their heirlooms just because yourre from the boondocks.
I love those BoHo fabrics on the sofas you show here. I can't find them in thrift shops. It takes some time to create the lush layered, patterned looks you have here. Much food for thought.
Thank you! Boho fabrics do add a unique touch. While thrift shops may not always have them, exploring online options or specialty stores could yield better results. Don't rush the process; creating that lush look takes time, but the end result is worth it. Happy decorating
