Currently uploading videos I have taken around Norfolk UK at The Norfolk Blues Society Monthly Jams and also of Local Bands playing their own numbers or music that is no longer copyrighted, especially BLUES. I will also some time in 2020 start uploading video's of my [future] Nomad RV Life Touring the USA and Canada. Remember "Life is Not a Rehearsal, So get out there and enjoy it"
the Kenos were fantastic, out of all the bands that played at the Fox in Heacham, they were the one that stood out, just loved their cover of Mercury Blues, fantastic.
Glad you like it Mike. There are a lot more of Sam on my Channel "Bulldog Bill" All from Sam's UK Tour in Late Spring this year from a lot of Venues that I went to:- O2 Birmingham, Thekla Bristol, Cambridge Junction, Band on The Wall Manchester, The Garage London, The Haunt Brighton, O2 Oxford and The Brook Southampton. I also went to The Stables in Milton Keynes but they did not allow photos ar videos.
I know someone on the Facebook link pointed that out to me and to be honest I should have updated the video description by now but RL has got in my way lol
I know what you mean, at every one of the 9 Gigs that I managed to get to here in the UK Sam was outstanding as a Guitarist, Vocalist and great Stage presence. Sam's song writing also just gets better and better. Every person I talked to who was seeing Sam Live for the first time was totally amazed at just how good Sam is and also how good and supportive Sam's Band is!
Thank you for capturing and sharing what is now a rare performance of this awesome song - it is amazing! Samantha's guitar and vocals are thrilling, and Phil Breen on the keys is a beast!
With a single Mic only[Shure MV88+] no matter how good the mic is if the position is not near FOH speakers the audio sadly will always be a bit like this. The Brook has a balcony so next time that is where I will video Sam next Feb/March. I am only just looking through all the videos I Took of Sam at nine Different venues of Sam's UK Tour so hopefully some will be better audiowise than this
Thanks Simon, This was the first track I recorded with the Mic and I'm at the back of the Venue about 40-45 feet away from the band. I experimented with a more forward position later on when a table came free and also used the mic's audio app with the standard iPhone video camera instead of the video app that came with the Mic. I'll post some more tracks when I have had a chance to edit them over the weekend. The Mic is a Shure MV88+, this is a kit which includes the little tripod etc, basically everything I'm holding at the beginning of the video. Cost is £199.00 from various well known on-line UK music shops. Comes with lots of on-line tutorials on best mic setups for different recording situations and is a stereo/mono/bi-mono mic. I'm just scratching the surface of what is possible at the moment with this mic.
