I made the mistake of purchasing this rolling piece of dog excrement in 1986. Gray Duster 2.2. It leaked water inside of the cabin so bad, the rear carpet stayed sopping wet. The dealership could not find the leak after multiple trips to their service dept. I finally drilled holes in the floor to get the water out. The car was not even a year old. A voltage regulator went out and the instrument cluster started smoking. The car had no power. I had a friend who had a CRX and he smoked me once off the line. I traded it after a year and took a bath on the trade-in, but it was a lesson learned. Buy Japanese.
Driving gloves? You will definitely need them if try to drive a 1982 Dodge 400 like THAT. Your palms will be so sweaty and you might even need diapers. We have one and it's great, but I drive it like a golf cart. Saying that you can drive it like that might have killed that car, wow. That's a grandma/grandpa car that is super soft. BUT we do really enjoy our 1982 D400 convertible . It's actually my wife's favorite car. She would need a helmet too if tried that. Gee whiz. 🤠 It's very roomy in the front seats. The electric convertible top works very well. If you find one in good condition, you are in luck. I really enjoy driving it year after year.
