We are updating the site soon with all the new designs and new components very soon! Just have a few more new components in the testing and production phases. The chassis are available now in a kit form without suspension for the open builders who want to make their own suspension and or Race versions. Message me on either Facebook or Instagram if you want to order or have any questions.

Well you are not wrong... actually using a string is not a way to go on a chassis... it only works for short point a to b parts, not to see if all the chassis is straight... for this you neet do use a laser, wich can´t be moved or altered by the shape... using a string is not ok. it can be moved and not noticed.

With all the “covid prices” how much do you have wrapped up in material costs? Not consumables, but just raw material. If you had discounts on some stuff what would be the ballpark cost for the average guy spend on material to build a roller like yours here? I just found these crosskarts and I think they are awesome. I wanna put a Busa motor in one LoL
@risktakerproducts1529
@risktakerproducts1529 Год назад
Hi, prices went up like crazy during this build and parts were getting harder to find, now parts are easier to find, but I seen some raw material prices literally doubled or more, not to mention wage prices shot up for everyone which compounds any outside work expenses. So quality parts and raw materials, 14-17K that includes just about everything material and off the shelf quality component stuff, EXCLUDING design time, prototyping time and costs, welding costs, labor time for machining the parts and tooling required, facility costs, assembly time, and I am sure I left something out =). LOL I will be having a site change coming up with the new chassis designs that will hopefully be more affordable for those who want to build their own very soon. Big Positive changes coming for 2023! It's gonna get exciting!

@risktakerproducts1529
@risktakerproducts1529 2 года назад
This current version is made of 1.5” and 1” .120 wall DOM tubing. It also can be made of chrome moly. Do not use anything less for safety reasons. Budget is a problem for most people wanting to get into these, but loosing your life or getting seriously hurt is a much bigger problem. Don’t be cheap when it comes to materials to anyone attempting to make their own and please use a professional welder.

@risktakerproducts1529
@risktakerproducts1529 2 года назад
Its primarily fixed with 2.5 degrees of toe in based off the rear control arms with approximately a 2 degree of adjustability by the lower forward rod that ties into the rear hub.

Shit looks great extremely over priced seriously $1000 bucks for a Complete Aluminum Side 1 Knuckle Assembly with Brakes there are way more economical options out there I thought you said you were making this affordable looks like you wanna arm n a leg lol
@risktakerproducts1529
@risktakerproducts1529 2 года назад
Bummed to hear our components are priced out of your price range, Mcdonalds wants finger’s and toes, so aluminum components are really worth arms and legs in today’s times. But really, sorry I can’t compete with junk yard builds and if you think that price is high, then I recommend either you build the same and let me know how much time and money you have in one side and then value your time, or pull your credit card out. I bet it adds up to more than you think, not trying to slam, just being honest. My plan was and still is to keep the costs down as low as possible along with making a small profit to continue making parts for those who can’t.

@@risktakerproducts1529 why is it that no one seems to want to build the complete crosskart and sell them? I understand things are expensive and time consuming, but it seems there's a need for less expensive ready-to-run crosskarts on the market, which currently sell for a STEEP $50,000-70,000... Isn't it possible to start a small company and team to build these and sell them for half the price of the rest? Definitely a market for it... I'll help you!! I'd LOVE to build these for a living, but I haven't the skills, but I know I could learn the skills........ thanks for your time, now subscribed!

@@risktakerproducts1529 also how much for the materials for the rollcage? And what kind of metal??
@risktakerproducts1529
@risktakerproducts1529 2 года назад
@@metalgt6828 Hi Brian, I will be selling rolling chassis with suspension and no engine. All you will need is the donor bike. The costs of really manufacturing is high. There’s a lot of expensive tooling and machine work. The frames are the easiest part of the vehicle. It’s easy to build one, but building multiple of high quality is a challenge. I have been building my company’s tooling, CNC equipment and CAD models for the last year and a half to get what is needed to build the first one. I could have easily purchased 2-3 sierra cars and a truck and trailer to haul for what I have in just machines and tooling to build the rollers that I will be producing. And that’s just for the chassis, the body is a entirely different subject and is a completely different type of work for the average fabricators along with a entire different costs and tooling associated with it. I am in the works for our bodies now. I will be showing some videos very soon.

@@metalgt6828 think about the liability insurance involved with selling a turn key high performance offroad machine... thats why sierra charges so much. Do you think joe blow is gonna drop 20 grand on one of these when they can finance a yxz for the same amount? (Sure they pay more in interest, but they also have 4wd and reverse) If you want one cheap, you can build one yourself for under 10 grand out of pocket, otherwise youre spending quite a lot. That being said, if the market gets bigger, prices drop, look at edgeaustralia buggys on facebook, plenty of used machines for around 7-10k aus. Maybe look there if you dont mind import and customs fees.

I really hope you guys don't end up like all the other companies do and overprice everything. I know that you have to pay good money for quality but on the other hand I believe we both know what I'm talking about LOL. I hope this didn't come off as sounding rude because I definitely didn't mean it that way. Take the micro sprint car racing for example, they claim it to be a "budget friendly" beginners entry into racing yet a certified chassis alone is $15,000 lol.
