Ive made so many pairs of the peppermint pattern trousers, but have never been brave enough to do the front zip 😅 always finish mine off with an invisible zip in the side or back

I have even searched for more sewing channels, and this is the first I've seen you! Anyway, I really liked your video and subscribed right away. (I do wish you would leave images up for more than one or two seconds though.)

I’m not 100% sure on the loudness but both have exactly the same stitches. …Saying that, the 1034DX does seem just as noisy from the RU-vid videos I’ve seen of it! Happy sewing ✂️
Looks useful. I use the 'foldet piece of cardboard' method, but it sometimes slips out under the pressure foot to early. Weird, that I've never seen them anywhere, I've been sewing for 2+ decades.
I used to use that method (or using a folded piece of fabric) until I discovered this tool. It’s a very useful thing to have in your sewing box. Happy sewing! 😊

I have the same scissors as you!! But mine are rose gold - i got them in a set as a xmas gift about 4 years ago. But i also have my gdmas old fabric scissors and those are like 40+ years old!

Congratulations on your engagement 🎉 3/6d in old currency before 1971 was three shillings and six pence - 17 and half penny, no half pennies anymore so less that 20p in today’s hyper inflation 😊 I have a wonderful collection of vintage patterns found cheaply from charity shops, I love them but don’t use them , too fragile - just make my own block patterns.
