I love my 4s Arrma 6s esc motor tho i use 4s battery m2c hinge pin upgrade and ecoboost 21kg servo so far upgraded will see how it goes from there :) i already got 2 much power as it is using 6s spektrum esc and motor
Awesome build man! I have the V5 version myself. I have a few M2c upgrades. My next upgrade with them is going to be the chassis. I love the Hobby wing esc setup, I'm probably going to do the same as well. I've gotten Alot of great help from Robert too (East Tactics) dude has the Kraton down to a Science! 👍🏽 Are you still running this setup? Any advice for someone wanting to do this setup? Any input would be greatly appreciated. oh one more question any Idea where I can get that shroud for the esc? Looks like the company ecsrc. is no longer up and running, the website would load up......
First thing to uppgrade is the arms. I went for full RPM around the car. Way better then the stock once. Broke 2 of them first week, not broken since i swapped to RPM.
@@dysfunctionalrc6939 that sucks. Some things like the chassis i would want silver but other parts dont get scratched up as much and would look better anodozed
Sorry for the confusion. Your correct the stock ones are steel. I was referring to thinker beefier steel option rather than going the more expensive option like titanium, like the other RU-vidr did.

Thank you so much! All depends on what you want to do with your truck and where you will be spending time running. The Outcast is more of a stunt truck for flips with that shorter chassis, the Typhon is more of a race truck better for handling. I like the Kraton because I believe its the best hybrid if all. Longer chassis allows more versatility for speed, jumping, control and overall bashing. I love speed and jumping. The first thing you absolutely need to replace is the under powered cheap steering servo. If you check out some of my other videos you might find other information that could help you. Good luck
@@dysfunctionalrc6939 I love speed and jumping as well and that’s what mainly what I’ll be doing with it. My choice is the Kraton EXB. I’m going to buy that one right now as I’m writing this. 😂 My thing is what motor, servo , esc and of course lean how to gear it.
@@wroman786 i have been really happy with the torque and speed with my Hobbywing 1650kv motor with the max 6 ESC and 20-23 tooth pinion. I would recommend a good servo with 500oz of torque. Again this is all subject to opinion but that’s what I have enjoyed. A more powerful servo can never hurt, especially with off-balance landings and turning in tall grass. To ensure you don’t damage the nicer servo a definitely would recommending upgrading the server saver to aluminum or using one of the many methods people have come up with to stiffen it up.

I used a copper tube from hardware store (because it’s soft metal) Then I used a knife to sharpen an inside edge, put it in a drill like a bit and cut a perfect hole in the tire.
Nice build. Very expensive but worth it. I'm calculating that your build has about $1500 in it. Not as bad as my $2500 O8S and EXB K8S. Hehe. Heck even my Typhon 6s V3 with M2C, and HR upgrades is somewhere around $1k at the moment. Is it worth it? Heck yes! Hehe. Yeah that PPS motor mount is nice. I have a one on my Outcast 8s and Felony that I converted to 8s.
Same story with my Slash....I bouht a used one, then bought all the upgrades and did'nt really need the used Slash anymore as I had all the parts upgraded.
It should be bind already but definitely calibrate throttle and steering. Very easy to do everything is in the manual on how to do it. First upgrades I would look at is servo and a 3-D printed wing mount. Those two things are typically the first things to break. Otherwise and let it rip. Thanks for watching 🙏
