The American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE) is remarkably active in supporting scholarship, training, and conservation efforts in Egypt. www.arce.org/about-us
The lecture itself might have been good - but I gave up after 5 mins as the audio was so distractingly bad. I guess the audio problem is a combination of low-quality microphone - and internet speed, causing audio delay & breakup.
The original Egyptians didn't build the pyramids nor the Sphinx, these were constructed around 15,000 years ago, nobody knows who build these, the people and construction methods are now lost to time. The original Egyptians were the people that inherited that area of the planet around 3000 to 4500 years ago, at best, the people that live in Egypt now are not the original Egyptians, they are just some people that took over the land and stole all the history and called it their own. If these so called Egyptians were the original Egyptians they would have pride in their history and they would not of broke, destroyed and stole the artefacts.

Stop adding Euro features on the Black Egyptians in your efforts to lie to the world that Black African were not the Mothers and Fathers of civilization. Your work in not preservation, but creating a false clam of who you never were. Lets stop the lies.
Great information and invitation from two ARCE Chapter friends of mine. I have been interested in Egyptology since the age of 8, but it wasn't until 1996, well into my 30s, when I found and joined ARCE, and my local Northern California Chapter, that I actually had the opportunity to form FRIENDSHIPS with people (including the fine folks above) who love Egyptology as much as I do.
