Do your own thorough research before driving for a company like Crete. If I'm not mistaken, This guy gets something in return from Crete for making this video. I have heard that Crete micromanages their drivers like crazy, and are more strict than Walmart, for example: if you don't make a complete stop at a stop sign you'd get written up, but what if the stop sign was next to some railroad tracks? You'd still get written up. Or what if some crazy 4wheeler pulls out in front of you and the only way to not hit them is to go around on the (paved and clear) shoulder of the road, guess what Crete will have to say about that. Or try doing a U-turn on a road where there are zero other cars, trucks or people, guess what'll happen to you, from what I've heard, it sounds to me like Crete doesn't have their drivers backs and wants their drivers to be scared that they'll lose their jobs every second of every day, as if our job isn't hard enough. It's always the stupid truck drivers fault because all us truck drivers have an iQ of 30 according to mega companies & their room-temperature-iQ management
Shit I’ve been here for four years and haven’t experienced them trying any of that. Maybe you read reviews from shoddy drivers who tried putting blame on the company rather than their poor driving?
My grill doesn’t hold the grease when cooking a pound of bacon can you put a oil catcher on this model ( I bought one but can’t figure out how or where to put it)
Does Crete allow me to take my hometime wherever I like? My current company lets me park at any truck stop in America as long as I give them two weeks notice for hometime and I like this because I often visit family and friends around the country on hometime
Agent needs to say, "Take your million dollars and shove it, it's obviously all filthy money anyway cuz if you would screw my driver you'd screw all your employees out of their bread and butter. So since you're a thief, I don't want to do business with you and I'm going to tell everybody else not to too!! In fact where can I mail the check of what you've given me so far I hate your filthy crap money so much😊😊😊😊"
@@red---paulvanravenswaay2247 In the old days that's how it was handled, we had good agents, they are all foreigners now that could care less about the drivers, they ran this shit into the ground, it'll never ever ever be the same
Been using Jerry cans for 40+ years here in the UK, the seals are replaceable and the inner coating can be redone when it starts flaking off in about 20 years time.
I found your channel from a comment section under a certainn video where you say -i spent all my life as a misionary. My question is have you been missioner of Christ. All so i find it more confort to ask you this question rather here than there.

In my 2020 you’d leave interior comfort OFF and the ac worked off the batts and would crank after 6-8 hours to recharge. In this ‘24 .. it’s the exact same system.. but set on OFF, the ac works for 10 minutes then quits cooling. Garage says put interior comfort ON.. but the engine runs the entire time. Cranks immediately and doesn’t turn off. What’s the purpose? The old system worked fantastically. If it’s gonna run all night.. just let it idle.. and ruin the DEF system so it lets you down in a couple hundred K miles.
A Landstar driver told me , if you get into an accident even if not your fault Landstar can be your worse enemy. He had been there for years . He got rear ended while stopped in traffic.
Not being a jerk, but why did you not have the money to repair your truck? If you were a runner Landstar likes and do a good job, why not? Doesn't sound like you make enough money to cover your basic costs, which include a healthy repair budget. I've been looking at Landstar for a while now and I don't see anyone saying they take home $4000, $5000 or $6000 per week consistantly. I see more like $3000 per week, which is less than a company driver makes (minus truck payment, repair, etc...) without the headache?
Nice work - where is your home terminal? Are you running national OTR? You hear anything about Shaffer getting the Tropicana account out of Flordia? Thanks
