Awesome work as always. Maybe you should be the next Star Wars Director or a special effects crew. All you resounds are so realistic. Disney finally got it right with Kenobi. Also it's great so see Hayden again after so many years. Never gets boring keep uploading.
Vader could have slice Luke in half right before he felt under the bridge handle and got his hand cut off (again). He got defeated because he didn't want to hurt his Son, he wanted his son to turn and then both go against the emperor
I remember watching this at the theatre and everyone was cracking up and surprised to see Yoda fighting. That scene changed our perceptions of Yoda forever!
This my favorite re-edit. Although I love the original sound mix. I think this one adds a new level of intensity without changing too much of the original film. This is what the special editions should have been. Improvements and VFX clean up to make the movies more digestible for modern viewers. Even still I wish we could have both the originals and the revised editions. So it’s up to the viewer on how they wanna experience Star Wars.
Awesome work as always. Been a while since you uploaded. Gotta love how Hayden's and Earl's voice just comes together. Disney finally got it right here. Growing up with the prequels meant something to us. Sounds more realistic without the music playing in the background.
I find these SFX annoying and prefer the "original". Though it's debatable what the "original" is, since every time it gets released they've probably re-recorded the mix.
Shouldn't Vader's boots be in Stealth Mode while approaching his opponent rather than after? Once the attack begins, the target knows he's there so why waste energy engaging Stealth Mode at that point?
SW absent of JWiLL makes me want to commit self h@rm 😂😂😂 Could u even imagine this? 🎵 I guess the evil Mouse kingdom would get this edit scratched had the music 🎼 been included 🤨😝 ?
2:44 - 2:45 Hi there, do you know which game or show where I can find this particular sound effect? I heard a little bit of that sound from batman beyond episode blackout.
I thank you for at least keeping Obi-Wan and Vader's speaking lines, as this fight as a whole is special to me (helped me through a dark time in my life). Do love how you added some special effects to the saber clashes, and the resound itself sounds more intense. Adds an extra punch to the fight itself.
@@loneelementalcross Thank you for that wholesome comment! Appreciate it ❤️ Yeah I added saberflares and lockup flares because the vanilla ones were ugly/weak 😎🤘🏻 thx for watching mate
There's one thing I've always really enjoyed about your re-sounds: You make the lightsabers feel real. The sounds all feel like they're at appropriate volumes and blend together seamlessly.
Mostly videogames and collections I've found over the years. Some of these are custom/hybrid sounds I've edited specially for this re-sound 😄 Thanks for watching!
@@LangZ1988 Wow! Those are some high quality sound effects you've found. Would love to be able to something as good as this. Will you be doing anymore from the Kenobi series?
@@samuelskein3969 Thank you! Only the best for my videos 😄 Practice makes perfect, don't give up! Idk man, I'm so burnt out on Star Wars lately thanks to Disney I struggling to find the will to work on these anymore.....
@@LangZ1988 I get that. I ask as I'm working on a project where I am re-scoring the duels from the series and (weirdly) I stumbled across this so was going to ask for some help!
What I really love about this is that the lightsaber sound effect sounds like it did in the old days (i.e. pre-Disney Star Wars) Modern-day lightsaber clash sound effects have kind of a dull thud to them, like lightsabers are solid objects but in this video they make all sorts of crazy sounds as a LASER SWORD should. Excellent work!
Too much emphasis is placed on the fight itself. It doesn’t matter as much as you think it does. How good the fight choreography is or what the colors are or sound effects should be is irrelevant. It’s about what’s going on with the characters, meaning their internal background and pressures. That’s what makes this scene so much more interesting than any of the nonsense in the prequels or sequels or spin-offs or other crap.
