Providing Torque settings would be helpful. I have a tendency to over tighten nuts. Is there reference to torque settings in the installation instructions?
Wonder if those bright chrome shocks work better than the sandblast finish 1s you get now. Kit looks BA, but long travel is a joke. Maybe 1/2” lol which is a 1/2” more travel than stock.
Hi, I have a 2004 EZ go TXT gas. When I bought it, it came with the Jake lift kit in the front only. When I hit a bump, the shaft for the steering column comes out of the spline that goes to the steering at the front frame. Is there an extension bracket that would bolt on or be fixed in there to extend that to my steering column. Or is my steering column able to be dropped down further a few inches over the spine. Not sure if this makes a difference, but my steering column has four bolts, mounting it to the frame. Thank you.
I had a problem with my clutch not going into gear and replaced the clutch to find out it was that high man adjustment that was the root cause of the problem. I wish I would have watched this video sooner!
Hmmm. Got my G29 used and it already had this kit installed. I was checking the front alignment and noticed the steering link bolts had been installed from the top (factory non-lift orientation) instead of from the bottom as you show. Got that corrected now. Also had right tire 1/4" toed out, and corrected that.
It's the governor mechanism, it controlls the throttle based on how fast you are going do your engine doesn't overrev, most vehicles have this in the engine but this one is in the transaxel
@@parkerhorton3471 cool thanks. I wondered what it was. It isn’t hooked up since the cart has been converted to a predator 420. I thought maybe it was a diff lock or something. (No such luck)
How tight do these bolts need to be again? Oh, "securely"! Great video! Very helpful! You must've said "securely" 50 times and now I can't get it out of my head thoug!
I notice you skipped the part of the video that showed the main tie rod actually breaking loose with the pickle fork. These are seized up bad on mine and I have tried hammering, prying, spraying with release. Did you have trouble and that's why you skipped forward? You hammered it multiple time but I did not see it let go.
I ordered kit 7416 for a FY2019 Drive 2 electric cart. The rear goal post upper holes are about 1/4" too narrow to fit into the shock mounts of the electric cart. What do you suggest? Boring out the holes a bit? Is there a different goal post for the electric cart? Is this a big deal to modify? thanks.
At 8:10 what is the difference in the rear goal post that makes the "J" required to face the back. What if I installed it in reverse? It looks the same with it turned either way to my naked eye.
I wish you showed actually preforming the steps. Specifically the top of the rear shocks to the bottom of the rear goal post. Seems like the piece the bolt goes through on the shock doesn't line up evening inside the bottom of the goal post holes.
