Hello, I'm Alec! I make videos about games that often take the form of reviews, discussions, and highlights! Feel free to share your love of gaming with me! :D
I started this whole RU-vid prospect a few years ago and had a LOT of fun making and putting together videos that I thought were funny and made me either laugh at or proud of what I had created for myself. So I started posting them online and through some experience and further encouragement from friends and family, I'm still here and still having lots of fun! So stick around if you wanna join in on the fun with me :)
This is my favorite song ever. This was the anthem of my exchange at NAU, Flagstaff AZ. in 2012. They just released the "Southern Air" album and had their first show of the tour in Flagstaff. We played this song as the first song of every pre-party that semester! I like your cover as well. How come you chose this song? :D KR Joe
Oh wow, thanks for sharing! We picked this one because the lyrics really matched the mood of the heartbroken themes of the cover album we’re working on! Thanks for asking and thank you for the anecdote! Love this band :)
I remember playing Majora's Mask when young Link was finding his former fairy companion friend Navi until he was cursed and transformed into a Deku Scrub before Link of Ordon village was turned into a Wolf until he met Midna.
This paoloforteza and I didn’t attend launching day party midnights releases Zelda tears of the kingdom at the GameStop and they won’t give me tickets and numbers too because it’s too late already and also that’s I have it physical copy of Zelda tears of the kingdom
I love Charles, he’s been Mario for longer than I’ve been alive. I can get over the fact there’s a new VA, as long as they try to put their own spin on the character, and don’t try to sounds like Charles Martinet doing his Mario voice. The same way a new VA does their voice for Bugs Bunny. They don’t sound exactly like Mel Blanc, but they DO sounds like Bugs Bunny if that makes sense
I think that makes sense! From what little we’ve heard from Wonder (and the demo at PAX West), I’m confident that the new VA is going for exactly what you’re describing! Of course we can’t say for sure until next month, but so far I’m feeling at least a bit optimistic! Still wish there was a future for Charles :(
Not me playing FE on my hacked 3DS in 2023 n watching this just to make sure my childhood memory of marrying Corrin to this man wasn’t a dream (I had to double check)💀💀💀
I remember the first time I met Midna. I hated her. I just wanted her off my back. I was hoping to get rid of her when I met Zelda, but nooo. She had to stay. She was so mean and her laugh creeped me out. I hated her until she helped me scare that old man. Then I quickly warmed up to her, liking her more and more as the game progressed. She broke my heart :(.
1:29:41 Giving my two cents here. I would very much argue that that scene shouldn’t be cut, like Yoshiller said. On the contrary, I think they could’ve had MORE flashbacks throughout the movie. When being hauled away by the Shy Guys, Luigi reminisces about Mario always standing up for him against bullies, ever since they were kids. How Mario’s always the brave one. He then looks down at the ropes tied around his hands and hangs his head, seeming ashamed. Like he’s accepted that he’s just a failure. Just helpless and afraid. Then at the climax, he sees Mario burst out of the Pizzaeria, then as he sees Bowser about to roast Mario, he does what he never felt able to do. Afraid or not, he won’t let his brother get hurt, so he jumps in-between him and Bowser and blocks the fire breath. This time, Luigi returned the favor. This time, LUIGI saved Mario from “the bully”. It’s a callback to the flashback, except now it was Luigi being “the brave one”. I feel maybe if there were a few more flashbacks, that point would’ve been more obvious to everyone, and came across more clear. It also helps Luigi’s burst of Bravery at the end, feel less “out of nowhere” than some people think it is. The flashback helps that moment feel more rewarding cause we got a chance to see Luigi get picked on and do nothing about it, to finally standing up. They didn’t outright explain the connection of the two scenes, but I understood the visual storytelling the 2nd time I watched the movie. It did have a purpose.
I totally agree! If anything this movie did feel a bit on the lighter side as far as length/content goes and I hope that once the next film releases that Nintendo is more willing to give some of these storylines a bit more screen time as well! This was very well put, thank you for the comment! 😁
I know im so late but i remember everyone was confused mario was in a city. But that proofs they are not true mario fans. If you know mario is from brooklyn so its pretty normal to have brooklyn in a mario game.
It’s was less about his roots for me, and more about the realistic portrayal of the city itself. It is still to this day a bit jarring watching Mario walk alongside normally proportioned people, but I think that just adds even more to the charm of Odyssey as a whole! 😁
Thank! I’ve worked with them a few times before and since! I’ve met some really nice people as a result, and I’m very grateful for every opportunity! 😁

Dude am I the only one who the app doesn't open speakerphone for anymore? I can barely hear people. It wasn't always this way. I even factory reset my phone.
Pokémon has always been special to me. I started with Pokémon Y, then Diamond, then Omega Ruby, and the rest is history, but I ended up playing basically every mainline Pokémon game and the only one I didn't enjoy was Sword. I've even been getting into the Mystery Dungeon games. If you were to ask me what Pokémon meant to me, I'd say it's about the bonds you make with your digital friends along your journey to be the very best, like no one ever was. Once I actually learned how to play Pokémon, I felt like my team and I were unbeatable, and no matter how many times we lost, we'd just heal up and show the world that we're the champions and we won't back down, no matter what life throws at us. Honestly though, being the shy, introverted, and sheltered person I am, I kinda would rather be in the Pokémon world than the real world, especially nowadays with how everything is going. It's really a shame I don't have any friends to play the games with, because the games really mean a lot to me. I love Pokémon, it's my favorite game series, and I know no matter how bad the games get, they'll still find a way to make a fun one.
What a sweet story! I really do know what you mean when you say how much these games provide for you and the hole that not having friends to play with leaves. Ruby/Sapphire and all of gen 3 have been my favorites since 2003 and I’m loving that was one of your first games! If you ever feel the desire to make friends in the space, our community is always welcoming to new folks and you can probably infer how often I play these new games on Twitch and what have you :b
I love people talking about games aaaaa. For games I’ve played. Top 5 is Atelier Sophie 2. Atelier Escha & Logy Persona 5 Royal (Kasumi best girl) Scarlet and Violet Sakura Wars (No order)
