Bowie should have retired in 2009, he was physically very well, his voice was impeccable, it would have been a great year! The quality of that video with a compact digital camera is impressive
Excellent posting of this "Time Capsule performance" thank you for sharing their performance - for a 68 year old man 3 months from death it makes me cry still. What a professional . . .
@3:39 he says David Bowie chose to share this artifact... I'm wondering if that's something he made ot ??? The fact that it's referred to as an artifact is confusing
His last live performance and he probably did not even know it at the time and caught by a loyal fan. What a beautiful treasure you have given us! RIP David forever ❤️
Funny enough, he did sing in public one more time. In a show in 2007, he introduced Ricky Gervais by singing a capella "Little Fat Man". Of course this one is still Bowie's last "serious" performance.
Dreadful camera work. Surely better to watch it and remember it without a mobile phone. Put the phone away and just enjoy it! What a talent, what a bloke. Deserved to share the stage with far better talent than Alicia Keys for his last gig. Miss you Bowie
No worries, I did enjoy it. Otherwise the camera work might have been better lol. But I think for others this might be better than nothing (and unfortunately I haven't ever come across any other recording than mine even though I'm pretty sure someone else filmed it too)
RIP (Rise in Paradise) to this wonderfully talented singer and musician David Bowie. To be honest, I don't find their marriage fascinating just because they have flamboyant vibes. I don't know how you meet a person through a mutual associate and feel instantly attracted to him/her just because of by his/her presence and charm. That sounds like a common fairytale narrative. Anyways, I am not David, and neither am I Iman. I cannot read his/ her mind and heart to comprehend their attraction towards one another and they seemed to be perfect for each other in the eyes of the public. Let's just say they are one of the greatest fashion icons in the world. Period.
Ich bin großer Bowie Fan seit über 40 Jahren, und war total begeistert über die Darbietung von Alex Scheer. Hab mir Lazarus 6x angeschaut in Hamburg. So super!!!!! Und Bowies Musik ist auf ewig unsterblich....
DB:こんにちは龍一。龍一、Last Emperorでのアカデミー賞音楽賞あめでとう! SR:Thank you David. DB:科学技術によって僕たちが交わして話せるなんて驚きだね。これも長い間、世界の科学者たちの努力の結果ね。 SR:You speak good Japanese. DB:どうもありがとうございます。ところで、日本の天気はどうかな? SR:It's Nice.
