Bij mij staat heel veel ridderzuring, blijkbaar een teken dat de grond te zuur is. Moet kalk toevoegen, schijnt het. En dan? Komt er dan beter gras?
Great project you are doing. I am wondering why you planted gorse. Here in New Zealand it is a big problem as it is invasive and the seeds spread and grow everywhere. A lot of time and money is spent on tying to control it. But my goats used to eat it and as it is a nitrogen fixer it may have it's uses if controlled.
Thank you! Yes, we are aware of its invasiveness. We only planted a few on the border of our land, because we have a lot of wildlife that eat our young trees. The thorns keep the away. Here in France some of the farmers keep the gorse on their borders for the same reason and the cows and goats reduce the invasive ones. Also they are one of the first plants that blossom which gives a beautiful view early in the year (sometimes even in January).
First time viewer, my dad always put a pipe ( he used pvc) in the ground when planting trees. It was better for watering . I love the circle garden, I would plant sunflowers.

Wowzers! Wanneer je de geiten naar een volgende wei verplaatst, als je dan de kippen een paar dagen in die eerste wei laat lopen, dan pikken die door de geitenpoep heen en verspreiden die op een zodanige manier dat insecten en vogels er beter bij kunnen. Op die manier vergroot je het bereik van het ecosysteem.
