I’m Jordan, an average fly fisher who loves to adventure with my dog Cedar. He’s a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. Washington State is our home.

It was a tough day of fishing but i found a couple of stretches of water where the tight line system excels, 2 ft deep moderately fast ripples, where you can just drag the nymph across the bottom.

What fly rod and reel do you use?

For this fish I was using an orvis Clearwater rod and reel. Nothing fancy. 8.5ft 9 wt.
