The coating on the bow beads is called ab coating short for aurora borialus or how ever you spell it

You can spray those beads with a clear high gloss sealer. The spa4kles should stay on then.

If you don't turn the stars into beads, you could glue them onto the top of the pen. I think that would be so cute!

You could also get an eye pin and make the stars into charms that could dangle off the pen, it might just be a bit heavy.

You can get a mini drill and drill a hole? Mini drills are inexpensive on temu. They also sell something to hold the bead as you drill. Like a clamp thing
