Hello, I am a player from Taiwan, and I'd like to suggest a few updates that might help improve sales, even if just a little. 1.Significantly reduce the HP of regular enemies: There should be a different health setting for enemy planes when one or two players are playing (maybe there is, but I don’t feel it). No one wants to play a shooter where basic enemies take forever to kill. When the screen is filled with waves of enemies, all the player can do is take down a few and then run for their life. This makes the player feel a lack of accomplishment, and many might have a bit of perfectionism when it comes to this (laughs~). 2.Add more options: I suggest adding an option where, when the shield is fully charged, any energy pickup automatically strengthens the main cannon instead of the shield. This could reduce the frequent need to switch between firing missiles and maintaining shields. 3.Enhance main weapon upgrades: Add visual feedback to the main cannon upgrades. For example, change the color of the cannon based on its power (e.g., white → blue → orange) to make it clear how powerful it is. 4.The upgrade interface is a flaw: Even with tutorial videos, the center part of the upgrade interface is still hard to understand. Also, why does my drone, which I’ve already purchased, often disappear after level 4? These are changes that could greatly enhance the player experience without requiring major adjustments to the game’s core programming. These are just some of my humble suggestions (The translation provided by ChatGPT)
Okay but how do I get it to actually purchase side drones, now that I have enough money for them? The button is still greyed out. I've bought a few other things, like extra missile ammo (I assume that's what it is -- and wtf is "radial damage" supposed to mean? If you mean "area" or "splash" damage, just say that, "radial" could mean a dozen different things and makes very little sense in this context). And the ground weapon upgrade, which seems to be effectively a hard requirement if you want shooting at ground targets to be anything but a _colossal_ waste of time. But I still can't buy more guns, and I *_really_* need more guns.
Add ship class variety with different weapons bases (missiles / beam lasers...), please. Also a brighter map (grassland / desert) would be a nice change. It would make it perfect.Either way, thank you for making this shmup anno 2024.
OMG… Without explanation, this stuff is so completely confusing! Just by playing the game, I had no idea what's up with the different colors of the slots, and such. This should be in the game, in some form that's probably in-your-face kind of stuff?… Great game, but so confusing upgrade/configuration system :(
its sooo saaad...tha fucking song is only release to the trailer...FFFFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAC edit... The fucking song is "background music" jajajajajajajaja search this: Royalty free music: Indie Rock Song - Take A Walk (background music)
I’m enjoying the game, but it’s so unnecessarily complicated with the upgrades. I still can’t purchase 2 side drones?! Why make it so needlessly overcomplicated?! Surely you could have included a manual?
I'd love to know the answer to this question too. I have the points but can't select the drones to unlock them. Stupid system, it doesn't explain anything.
Can someone explain to me, what is going on in the game? Where is my health? When am I close to dying? Where is my ammo count? How do upgrades work? I don’t get a thing here.
Anyone else know if my game is buggy or not, so I beat the first stage (finally and so satisfying) but for some reason I have 23 points in the upgrade menu but the menu is not responsive. I'm able to press a button but it shakes the 23 and makes it red as if it's not enough or something . Is there anything I can do or is this a feature ? Edit: I figured it out thanks to someone on reddit. Basically you need 25 points, tho the system is confusing the person on reddit said that you can even earn upto 250 points on stage 1 on easy mode. This can be achieved via taking little to no hits or just less hits = more upgrade points. The developers seem to understand how imo terrible their UI actually is with little to no information on how things work and are thus gonna provide more information on this in a new update. It's a fun game, performance is trash I'm not gonna lie just my own opinion, I don't hate it but also don't get why it's 25gb for just 3-4 enemy variations . Anyways hope this helps.
"take a walk" of "passion pit" apparently, that's what the identification apps find but it's not exactly the same I'm looking for it without success if someone is more talented I would like the precise music thanks you
Great graphics gameplay and great new twists for the genre - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the game will be a financial success - I want to see more of Cygni
I'm so glad you've finally made a great new shoot em up - love the gameplay and I'm currently biting my teeth out on the normal mode after I just finished it (after 8 hours).
Great game! I think you explained well but its not very intuitive to lean - perhaps you can da a bit longer Video with some of your spectacular gameplay - sure its work but it would also be a good promotion 🙂For me personaly i like the cryptic nature of the game - at first I understood nothing and its quite satisfying to learn more and more about how the game works. But newbies to the genre could be rejected by the at first cryptic interface
Those people that claim this to be a rougelite / rougelike can not be further from the truth. Cause with those types of games you get the chance and upgrade during play-through, upgrades are not locked behind completed levels. Imagine Dark Souls and you had to complete a level before a bossfight to be able to upgrade. Geez The problem with this game is that you get fooled over the graphics, it's gorgeous, and then when you start to play, meh It's really rough around the edges. I wonder if Keelworks have even studied other successful Sh00t em ups before? I hope they compensate us of some sort in the future, cause this was a real pain to get through. 30$ on PS5 and free on Epic store, nice one There is nothing that shows the strength of the weapons and the upgrades lacks innovation Takes forever to accumulate, the rewards (Upgrade points) does not match (worth while) time spent in game The levels are far to long to get through. 15-20 minutes, seriously? Enemies are bullet-sponges which lowers the fun-factor exponentially. it's not a bullet - hell game, but utter chaos, it's all over the place. Wonder how many people that will have seizure of all the flashing bright lights? Bad optimisation for PS5, jerky controls and at times choppy graphics, even on a really fast ssd, really bad for a ninth gen game. How did this pass quality control? You really need to do better and take a look at games like Ikaruga and Sky Force. Those game are the golden standard. Keelworks need to get back to work or they risk being "Keelhauled" Unfortunately Sony does not refund games like Steam or Xbox does, or i would have invoked that right ASAP Do not put so much effort on Intro and Cutscenes, use the game-size for the game next time, feels like 25$ / gb went to intro and cutscenes and the rest for the game. And put on a catchy track, not music that makes you think you are watching a Marvel flick. GFX = 10+ Gamplay and fun factor = 2+
not really, I have been following the gameplay, soundtrack and graphic development on Steam and RU-vid for months now. Konami and Keelworks are a promising duo! Bots that spam compliments in youtube never come under the cape of a solo user endeavour
What a privilege to be the first to congratulate KeelWorks team for this masterpiece, a beacon for the future of shoot em ups on the XXI century. Eager to enter the cockpit...A-L-L G-U-N-S B-L-A-Z-I-N-G
It's the hardest gam eI have ever played on EASY MODE!!! I try to play on hard or even hardest difficulty. I completed Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Dark Sould 3, Demon's Souls and so on. But I can't finish the first level on easy mode in CYGNI. It's nonsense.
I've been waiting for Cygni ever since I heard about former movie CGI artists making a shoot 'em up, some years ago now. So happy the game turned out great. I'd love to know if KeelWorks will be a shoot 'em up exclusive studio, but I guess we'll have to wait and see:)
