Hola compañer@! No, no es necesario. Mientras estén en celo ambos y en edad reproductiva, pueden tener diferentes años y criarán sin inconvenientes. Saludos

Tranquil@, no sufren. Es un manejo normal para comprobar el estado de las posturas. Esto también contribuye a que el ave vaya adquiriendo confianza, muy importante en la cría doméstica. Saludos

@@danielalbertorevol5547 muchas gracias Daniel. Sí, los Lúganos son realmente aves muy dóciles y confiadas. Su Madre, que también es Phaeo, es idéntica en actitud, hay que quitarlas con las manos para ver si han puesto huevos o han nacido pollitos. Saludos
What do you find different in impigra & somereni? Song? Behavior? Easier to breed?

Hello! The physical differences are very marked, the Impriga are earth-coloured birds, soft brown and the sexual dynorphism is less evident. The Somereni are grey and the males have a more marked black and white beard. The song and courtship is similar, very powerful and melodious, a spectacle. Reproduction is not always easy, but they are birds that have a long reproductive cycle. They can reproduce without problem when they are over 6 years old. I really appreciate you feedback.. I will soon get 2 pair of impigra from late 23 & 24. I have quality Italian breeding cages 90x50x50 that I can separate. I've been waiting more than 6 years to get those birds. Our fellows bird keeper in Indonesia breed them like rat in really weird condition & not like us in EU. Less light & small round cages. What month of the year do they breed best in EU? My greensinger start late August. This bird have been my dream to get. Hope breed a lot of them.
