@@OwensFPS you are 100% right and I should have chosen better wording here. I really like the way they are implementing nvgs, it will enhance the great/immersive atmosphere :D I am just a bit afraid that combined with upscaling methods (like dlss) it could make visibility worse. But in general it is really good of course that your vision is not 100% clear with nvgs just like in real life :)

trader stocks should be per player only and synced across all servers. otherwise you will have to compete with other players, or swap to a less populated server to buy more gear
You are 100% right about that, I was just looking at it from a game perspective. Of course we want the game to be as immersive as possible, but if you turn on dlss/other upscaling tech it already blurs the image quite a bit (a lot of people have to use it because of optimization). So I am just super afraid that when we get to play with nvgs, it could be very blurry
I really like the way they did it tho, other games just put a green filter on and make everything bright. But the way the include ambient light as well I really like that. I am glad they went with the approach they did, because I love the atmosphere of the game
@@Sol3Z Definitely one of the more visually spot-on interpretations of NVGs in video games. You could probably nitpick some details, but they really do get the 'this sucks' part of it down, and I think that's the perfect balance to literally seeing through the night, lol.
I totally agree :) The way they focus on immersive parts of the game is really cool (other example shadow of the suppressor) and builds up the atmosphere :)

Regarding the headsets, they don't just increase the ambient noises they also muffle all loud noises like the helicopter or grenades exploding, i haven't tried the quads myself but the ones u can loot are really good, helicopters noise don't bother me anymore...
Totally bad info. Testing based on ambient noise is horrible. GSSH amplifies EVERYTHING, just turn up your speakers and you get the same effect. Quads amplify only the things that need to be amplified, and cut most of the background noise that you don't want to hear. You need to do some real testing. Gatekeeping the headsets lol, wow.
Numbed out, usually you show your battles to get to location, helps but still love your videos.. You aren’t like the dime a dozen and show how not just it.
last night i did raid coming from lakeside villa all the way down to the hotel ground floor entrance. Not the easiest way but it was really fun and challenging.
i tried this strat last night. the server was wonky and there werent guards at the front. i moved in........ 4 guards came out from behind those pillars. i ran like a scared child lol
i solo yolo'd the folder in the UNLRA tent. but he is right, coming from the north? a ton of AI in the bushes. i dont recommend it. you need hard cover, there isnt any over there
M4's are better than AK's as they are in the real world! And yes, the MK18 is just a semi custom M4 in the real world! It's such a pleasure to finally see a game trying to reflect real world weapon stats! They aren't perfect but far above most games!
i had someone give me the Gen key for YBL and the Ban Pa Elder key. knowing what i know now, that guy was my hero and i didnt even know it. i am on my second playthrough and i have cleared YBL 6 times, only 1 key, and its not a good one

I ran with GSSH for most of the game thinking they were great! They are great… for nature walks. I can hear the frogs, the birds, crickets, flies and bees. I started to run Quads and haven’t taken them off since. They amplify everything but nature and the helli
When I tested it, the quads made steps a bit more quiet. Ofc the gssh amplify the ambient sounds, but if you are in tiger bay shopping mall especially, they made me hear my enemies footsteps way clearer/louder.
