I absolutely love my '08 I've never owned a Harley Davidson and definitely am not here to bag on them they are beautiful bikes American made and just plain cool but damn this M109r is a nice bike!
@1RaceLifestyles Hey man! Just bought the Gixxer, and had to stop by from the stickers lol It gets delivered on Wednesday! So hyped for it! I’ll be posting it on my insta and tagging you on there 🔥
When i sold it, Mechanically, no. The tires are fairly new. Passenger rear wheel hub is new(Auto shop broke the original when changing the tires). AC works, heat works, cooling seats work, rear sunshade works. No leaks of any kind. Speakers are still factory and would recommend have them redone. As common with these cars you have to keep an eye on the oil level, top off here and there. I usually just changed it sooner than 3k. Sunroof works, no leaks. Yellow fog lights are new. If I didn't get a good deal on my Porsche I would've kept it. Just didn't have the space or need for 2 cars and 2 motorcycles.
@@1RaceLifestyle thank you for the update man. I’m having issues with it and have to put a lot of money into it. Basically, I bought a lemon, however, I’m was wondering because I wanted to know if the dealer had any notice of the issues beforehand. He claims to not know of anything, but I had it for less than 24 hours before the car became inoperable.
I bought a new 2023 R (rebates on the 2023!) back in May. I got a manual vs the auto. Absolutely loving it. Was getting too old for my Indian Chieftain. Buying the Slingshot was a no-brainer after how well Polaris treated me with the Indian. My wife had stopped riding with me on the bike, but LOVES riding with me in the Slingshot. Good job on the review.
Thank you for watching! I just sold my two bikes. The wife was never to fond of them, and the slingshot is something we ride in together. They are truly a fun ride!
@@1RaceLifestyle it really is. When I was a “biker”, I didn’t like the Slingshot but here I am, loving it. This after riding motorcycles for over 40 years. Having something your wife enjoys with you makes all the difference.
These ain’t cheap. Got a 2014 with 90K for 16.5k 22 after warranty and fees. These were 50+K brand new for the awd. Crazy nice cars more reliable than any luxury competitor love it
@@1RaceLifestyle currently searching for parasitic drain that kills new batteries in less than 20 minutes, goes through rotors and brakes every year or so. Bluetooth quit working, clicking noise in the dash. Never had such horrible luck, or had a vehicle i had to jump off every single time.
did you get rid of this im looking at buying this lexus near me nd it got these same upgrades ur talkin ab , theblue steering wheel th cavon fiber inside, the blacked out grill and everything and its from florida
Could be, I traded it for a Porsche. It was an excellent car, never gave me any major issues, and was super easy to work on. I was going to do all blue interior at one point, hence the blue steering wheel. It's just a cover, it's still the wood wheel under it
How are these being only a 250? The website doesn't give information like top speed or anything like that, I understand it's a 250 so how's it fair against like higher cc bikes?
I recommend everyone to test ride one. They are on the heavy side for a 250. Stock top speed is about 85-88 mph. With the changes I've done to my I can squeeze right at 100mph out of it. It all depends on the type of riding you do. Gas capacity and MPG is great. I keep up in group rides just fine. I have no complaints.
Thank you, 2013 Journey started doing this a month ago, them the new battery went dead. Called the dealer and they wanted $430 to replace a $25 part. Where do i send the check...lol
@@1RaceLifestyle yea that's what i meant to say incase the bike somehow slipped off the stand the front wheel would already be turned in correct direction with kick stand. I just assembled my stand set same ones you have so you think it's a better move to leave the handle bars unlocked
Simple fix, sporty clutch is known For being a little sticky, get in the habit when you sit down to just pull in the clutch”while in gear”and just move a little, it breaks the little bit of hydraulic lock that happens when they sit, that’s why it doesn’t happen when your out on it, after gas up etc🍻
