I know a lot of people hated the ending of the US series (and the series in general) but I think it was a good take on the original and the ending completely caught me by surprise.
In a way I’m glad TV is terrible now as saves me a TV licence. I have this on DVD and enjoyed it very much and how many people were wishing Gene Hunt was the Commissioner of Police for the Met
Just finished watching Life on Mars on Netflix. I loved it! Great storyline. John Simm had me invested from the start. Amazing actor with depth. S2 ending had me in tears. Both seasons were impeccable! All the cast were great! ❤
I just finished this mini series after listening to the Crime and Punishment audiobook. This is probably the best film adaptation of ANY book I have seen. Thank you so much to all involved for bringing this story to life. I was having such a hard time visualizing the living conditions and the characters. One thing that frustrated me is that the characters have like 5 names all used interchangeably. A great job, all of you!
Supposedly (according to what was said in A2A) Sam was supposed to have 'died' during the early 80's - so the only way they could do it, is a prequel to A2A?
Unglaublich.❤❤
I wish more quality work comes his way. It’s been so long since he’s been in something truly good. Grace is alright but nowhere near Life on Mars or The Lakes. He says he’s got a nose for good writing then went ahead and did Intruders and Trauma but I guess he’s got to eat.
This is so much better than the crap ending they squeezed out for the U.S. version of the show. That one never got a chance to be great, thanks to network decisions & disregard for viewers who'd invested time into that 1st & only season. The ending they tacked onto it was the absolute worst in American TV history.
