FilmFacet is a RU-vid channel dedicated to the world of Cinema new and old. FilmFacet takes a common-sense approach to looking at the industry. The channel will focus on new & older Hollywoke. Films we grew up with in the 1970s-1990s. Spotlighting lost gems from the era. Plus we will call out ingenuous woke pandering that has seeped into the fabric of Hollywoke. The right & the left are not safe from my perspective.
By the way; I saw the preview in theater, entirely diferent experience. The sound in this film is going to thump hard. I think it may do really well actually.
I guess we should expect a White version of the classic "Roots" TV series, sometime soon? 🤣 Hollywood acts like a bunch of woke, ignorant, entitled, drugged up teenagers in charge of society. Bill Maher is changing with the times to stay popular and keep his fortune. DON'T trust him (Dem). He wasn't this fair or reasonable when Trump was Pres. Maher also has a staff of writers & thinkers. 🤨
I also run into lots of actors and actresses(of the indie genre cinema kind) that heavily pine for jobs in films(including filmmakers that are also actors/actresses) that wind up not being hired for films on the basis that they are not-so-nice people in-person to be around with that just hang out on social media and the Internet 24/7 to keep themselves busy to remind us that they act in movies(or used to[as well as ex-filmmakers who used to make films that also happily hang out on social media and the Internet 24/7]). I figure that they're reminding us that they're still out there alive and well and that they don't want to see themselves winding up as pictures of Missing people on the back of milk cartons and public Missing posters.
A lot of times Indie actors don't have reparentation. IE - A talent agency. The actors I see are still or have been recently A-list. They have agents. That's their job. An agent's job is to find them work. They shouldn't be going to social media pleading for a job. It's just not a good look IMO. Either that, or they just want to put a bug in people's ears about "Hey, I wanna do this kind of film or that kind of film." To me, that screams selfishness and a bit narassistic but look at the times we live in now? A world filled with narassists. I suppose, it is what it is in these times. But really for me, if these actors have an agent, let them do their job.
Woke as in ridiculous. things that do not make sense to me. I know Woke probably isn't the right term to use but it's a popular term that might give way to extra clicks for the channel. Hope that makes sense Jack.
@@filmfacet8076 I always understood that, "woke" was the rights way of describing liberals for their care of others and things that did not align with the right. That's why I asked and am glad for your response. Thanx.

Thank you Jack for this comment. Your opinion means the world to me. I think given my issues, this is a perfect avenue for me to get that creative fix I need. I would like to come back to writing some day. I have some story ideas that I think are really good, so, we'll see. Maybe I can have you on as a guest in an episode (after I figure out how to do that) lol.
