I do not want to give up on Justin Verlander but frankly we just do not have the time for this. The postseason is around the corner, the regular season is coming to an end, and we have had to fight tooth and nail to get back to the position we are in now. Justin is either going to figure this out and be the amazing the pitcher we know he can be, or his career is done.
:/ It's tragic honestly, especially how he's going to fight tooth and nail against time itself to play more baseball. His goal was 300 wins but I don't think he even gets to 275. All the more amplified by the fact that he's not even going to be an Astro next season. All we can hope for is that his last 2 outings he turns it around in a huge way.
Apparently this was an issue for most if not all the people of Houston but since DIRECTV and Disney are having problems ESPN wasn’t being broadcasted therefore there was no game broadcasted. Thank god I didn’t see yesterday’s game but if this issue persists into the postseason and the Astros happen to have a series broadcasted on ESPN imma gonna have issues with Mickey Mouse.

When Verlander starts, I don't look at it as a lockdown win anymore, he's just not what he used to be, which is understandable. He's not the 2017 Verlander we got

overall im happy with our performance , our big guys hit the ball finally our pitchers are looking solid+ but this season it feels like we are on a rollercoaster , we can win 2/3 against the dodgers and look dominant and then lose to the white sox , every series u dont know which astros u get and thats unfortunate i guess. with ronel blanco i saw video named "MLB’s Most Confusing Player Defies Logic (And It's Working)" and the guy there explained really nice why ronel blanco is so unique and weird (in a good way) on the same time, tho i feel like now we feel the other side of Ronel which is when the statistics fix itself but again i recommend watchig this video since that guy explaining with stats why ronel is relying more on his teammates then others
Only, because he's stopped taking pitches outside of the zone. Fewer walks & his on-base percentage have brought his OPS down. Otherwise, Altuve is as good as he's ever been, in just about every other major category.
