Don't you have to disconnect the mains electricity first?

Hi thanks for the info, I have replaced the batteries as you have explained ok, the lift worked ok for a couple of weeks. The battery’s voltage is down to 21.7v when disconnected. The PCB battery terminals has also 21.7v with no battery connected. Is there fuses on the main PCB or do the wall mounted PSU fail please? Regards Eddy (sparks) Priest
