I would love for him to be here today and talk about this. We all really need to hear this! Maybe this would help prevent some of the crime going on these days. He knows more than a lot of people. I think God is talking to all of us thru him.
It’s unbelievable that as he spoke of persecution that long ago that even now it’s even worse at the hands of ISIS, Boko Haram, at the hands of Hindus and Sikhs, all of these are horrifically persecuting Christians.
No mystery, just nonsense. Of the trinity there is NOTHING in the scriptures, it's a completely INVENTED doctrine (including the "Lord who gives life"). Jesus does not even KNOW what is a trinity! There is no verse about the presence of a trinity in heaven either. If that doctrine was true Jesus should absolutely confirm to be ALWAYS in a trinity with the Father and the Comforter. On the contrary, Jesus NEVER states that! He reiterates throughout four gospels 50 times to be ONLY IN THE COMPANY OF THE FATHER (who is a spirit). Comforter NEVER SEEN! Thus, you are sure that NO TRIUNE GOD EXISTS, i.e. that the trinity doctrine is FALSE. For example, the following verse is INCOMPATIBLE with the existence of a triune God "I am not ALONE because the Father is with me". Thus, Jesus tells us that God is only made by 1. the Father and 2. the Son. And what about the Holy Spirit? The solution to this problem is simple: the name "Holy Spirit" corresponds to the Father TOO! Jesus simply is together with the "Father who is a spirit" and calls Him "Holy Father, Holy Spirit". You can learn it from the speech about the two blasphemies, where the second one is of course directed to the Father, He is called "Holy Spirit" by Jesus. The trinity theory was later INVENTED to bring together the different currents of thought about Christianity that existed at the time. Its goal was to put peace and uniformity of thought in Christianity - good for the roman empire - NOT to respect the Truth. That theory was negotiated between the different parties until an agreement was reached. The Jesus' words WERE IGNORED and a third member was ADDED to the Father and the Son (the invented "Lord who gives life"). That is, the doctrine of the trinity is only a CONVENTIONAL doctrine issued in a first form by the Nicaea CONVENTION. A very poor performance: it was not understood that 1."Spirit of God" and 2. "God who is a spirit" ("God [the Father] is a spirit") are not TWO distinct spirits but the same ONE! Thus, no helper-God exists. That old conventional doctrine sets out EXTREME nonsense regarding an invented "substance" which is supposed "to form God-Persons"! When you have one "substance" forming three different Persons, it logically ensues that the alleged ONE God can only be that ONE "substance", not the three Persons. Further, from the gospels you can very easily READ that (A) NO THIRD GOD-PERSON EXISTS: for ex. "those who will believe in me through their word so that they all may be one, as you, FATHER, are in ME, and I in YOU. THEY also may be ONE IN US..." (i.e. only believers, Father and Son are there) and that (B) THE SON IS NOT ALMIGHTY as the Father: for ex. ("the Father is GREATER than I"). Jesus is even helped when going into the desert. That nonsensical doctrine has succeeded to the present day NOT because of its validity, but ONLY because of A. important psychological and physical threats, including death threats, B. its protection by use of a dogma, C. brainwashing: it must be repeated by people with one voice over and over again. ALL the unbiased people outside of the church have understood that the trinity theory is FALSE because 1. blatantly contrary to scripture and 2. fully nonsensical. Rather than acknowledging the reality, the trinity supporters keep putting their heads in the sand like ostriches. In this time of IRREVERSIBLE DECLINE, only TRUTH can save Christianity: that false doctrine should be dismissed, it's time for Christianity 2.0.
Many that believe the Trinitarian doctrine use 1 John 5:7 as the basis of faith. They do so because of its seemingly easy appearance to be twisted. It simply says, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." What they ignore right off is that the verse says "THERE ARE THREE" that bear record in Heaven. Still, because this passage declares "these three are one," they seek to convince us that this means that all three are one single solitary God with all power, yet three separate beings at the same time. Does this theology carry in the Word? Looking to Matthew 19:5-6, we see written, "For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh..." Using the worlds theological definition of the Trinity that states when using the term, "these three are one" must mean one God 100% in three beings. We must also assume that once a man and woman join in marriage, they become one single solitary person yet "mysteriously" two beings because this passage uses the same theology. In the light of Truth this becomes obvious error quite easily doesn't it? The Word also states in John 10:30, " I and my Father are one." So I ask, where does this leave the Holy Spirit since He is not mentioned? Their theology is proven false by the mere use of the biblical jurisprudence necessitated in Isaiah 28:10 Isaiah 28:10, "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:" Romans 12:5 states, "So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another." So again I ask, does that make us all ONE single solitary Christian now? Yes, if we are Trinitarian in our belief, this is what we must preach if we are to stay true to our faith. Like the "god blob" we will be preaching a "church blob" as well. Or what of 1 Corinthians 10:17 where it proclaims, "For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread." According to Trinitarian theology, we are ALL one bread as well now. Fact is, I can go on and on and on... or... I can go "precept upon precept, line upon line, and here a little and there a little" all over the Bible to prove that the trinity is error. When the Scripture declares "these three are one" it actually means these three are in agreement, or in one accord. We mustn't put meanings to a passage so that is says what we want it to say. The Bible specifically warns against that very thing! This passage in 1 John chapter 5 is merely stating there are three separate persons of the Godhead in Heaven that are in agreement with each other as to the state of affairs governed from that eternal Holy City. No more.. no less.

Billy Graham was one of the greatest Bible scholars that we have had the pleasure to study under But I have to say at 11:02 through 11:12 when he spoke of the Ethiopian nation there was no biblical written history or evidence of great strife in the Ethiopian nation or Christians being martyred . When Philip met the Ethiopian, Christianity was still in its infancy.The message of our Lord and Savior Jesus had not signifantly reached Ethiopia. His overall message is great and inspiring, speaking on it’s a change of the heart that’s going to make a difference in our world.
I don't think he was saying Christians were being persecuted in Ethiopia. However, they were being persecuted in Judea by the time Phillip met the Ethiopian.
Very little progress because most Americans have fired God but there are a few believers left in 2021. Pray Americans turn their hearts to Jesus. He is the only way.
