I just began printing fabrics. I printed a shirt, let it dry for over a week, and it all came out in the wash. Lol! I probably bought ink that’s meant for paper. I’m obviously extremely new at this. Any advice on ink that will stay put when washing?
We always use Speedball fabric ink. You can find it here stitchinpost.com/products/speedball-fabric-block-printing-ink?_pos=2&_sid=d617d91fa&_ss=r. Good luck!
Truly beautiful art quilts. This lady has real talent. Her use of colour and shapes is incredible and the quality of the quilting makes them so special. Thanks for showing us. 😊
Thanks, Annette, for catching the cutting error in directions for G fabric. Is the error in the 4 7/8" strip or on the 4 1/2" strip? Love this whole quilt.
I made 9 inch finished potholders with a layer of insulbright and cotton batting for Christmas gifts one year. Made in a similar fashion but sew an X across the bottom layer, insulbright, batting and inner piece of fabric before adding the 4 triangles of fabric as you did here. Nice big pot holders that protect your hands from the heat.
Most of our shop quilts are quilted professionally. If you're local and looking we have a page with contact info here stitchinpost.com/pages/quilting-services
Great video. I just ordered the pattern. I have made several log cabin quilts many years ago it was quilt in a day. 2 1/2 strips. I love all the colors in your quilt. I have a ton of scraps strips light to dark. I think this will an awesome quilt to do. Thank you so much ❤
A beautiful exhibition! I always love seeing the fabulous work these artists do. Thank you so much for sharing these exhibits with those of us who don’t have the opportunity to see them in person. 🙏💖🙏
