A channel for people interested in agricultural tractors and machinery. Tony Brassington has operated and maintained a wide variety of vehicles and machinery throughout his working life, but tractors remain his great passion.
Thanks for posting the prices that they made. I would say not a lot compared with the price people ask on places like market place so maybe worth buying at auction?
Hey brilliant video well done and thank you. You’re doing a grand job for peoples are not very well and can’t get out and love tractors. Thank you very much Ken Morgan
Yes indeed a one off, I spoke with the owner a few years back, I think in a Yorkshire show, started life as an aircraft tug , then he added the Gardner, cute little job. Also had a chat with the guy who had the huge red Pacific truck with the RR 220 engine, ten ft wide , tyres 4ft tall, 6x4 twin duals on the rear , nice bit of truck. Flat out @30 ish he told me, and I wouldn't like trying to stop it.
Ollie send me my parts I sent you the money in good faith is this the way you run your business, twice you told me you sent them I know you are lying I want my parts for fuck sake Timmy in ireland you got the money
I've been out of the heavy equipment industry for many years because I made more money in the oilfields but I love working on tractors. Everyone where I'm from calls me the tractor man.
Brilliant video would really like a super major myself as I learned how to drive on a 1961 model that my grandfather bought new but they seem to make silly money especially here in Ni
Check out "Marty T" in New Zealand He has a few old David Browns that are old and has got them revived.. well worth a look if you like these old machines!
mechanicaly tractors tend to be pretty good these days.......it tends to be things like rust that brings a tractor to the end of it's days and the cab doors and windows etc that start falling apart
880 is just indestructible by design older stuff especially the db’s only clock an hr above 1200rpm so if it’s been a yard tractor pottering at high idle hr clock might show 4k but it may have been running for 10k total hrs … 90 series db used to have a sticker on front saying amended service intervals because hr clocks ran slower than the hrs indicated too
i agree with you entirely , i repaired all the original panels on my 1957, 35 ferguson much happier with the result than if i had fitted spurious panels which never look right, all the repairs i made are invisible .
