Maximize your energy. Return to Death Mountain and near the entrance to the Goron city you will see a passage blocked with stones, there will be a fairy
@@eren34558 yeah I tried it earlier in the run but no luck, damn thing was annoying lol. I'll try it next time I do a replay, first time playing it so just learning it
@@optimusuk chronomage soul, death scythe weapon, deaths robe, and be level 50 with some mana replenishers. Finally, have black panther as the middle soul. This way, you have both the reach and the speed.
I'm using a MiSTer FPGA to a crt then splitting signal to an ossc device then from there to laptop to capture with obs. Still not clued up on OSSC configs for GBA though, so needs some tweaking. I know there's options to output from Gamecube GBA player but you're limited with what controllers you can use then.
Do you always have the same sequence of enemies in the arcade mode? I'm having that issue right now and the sequence is the same one as yours. I thought the game was just like this but I watched some arcade playthroughs on youtube and they didn't seem to have this issue.
No I believe it varies, not sure how many variations though. It definitely changes the sequence when you choose a different character. I believe the set sequence ended after vf2. My pc is running a low spec setup so that could be why, I think Lei-Fei stage stutters due to emulation issues. I had multi threading enabled but makes no difference. Maybe I'll be able to test one day when I upgrade my setup lol
@@optimusuk I dont know what's wrong with mine, it's always the same sequence. It always start with Vanessa, then Jeffrey and so on. It's the same exact sequence in all characters, regardless on who I choose. I tried different roms and emulators and the problem still persists.
That's weird, maybe it's the rom version you acquired? Try and get a different version, if you try the virtua fighter discords someone will hopefully be able to assist. There's a fightcade script people use that obtains the most compatible version.
@@optimusuk I just tried fightcade and use the automatic rom downloader but still no luck, will try VF discord now. guess I'll have to go back to the PS2 version if I couldnt fix this. thanks for the help though.
@@optimusuk The best version of the game is the PC version with the "Enhanced Edition" mod. This mod is essentially a remastered version of the OG Silent Hill 2, that like its name says, enhances and fixes everything on it, while retaining all of the good qualities of the original game. You can download this mod on its own official website, and see the comparison videos between the PC version of Silent Hill 2 with and without the mod, and also the comparison of the PC port with the mod and the PS2 version of the game. Also, since the mod it's for the game's PC port, it's way easier and better to run on even a low-end computer, while having a really good performance. This is because emulating a game requires more computing power than playing a native PC port of said videogame. Oh and by the way, the mod is completely free and super easy to install, and since the PC port of the OG Silent Hill 2 is not available on any online store or launcher, you can also technically get the game for free (If you know what I mean).
@@optimusuk And the PC port of Silent Hill 2 is not only the best version of the game with the Enhanced Edition mod installed, but it also comes with the "Born From A Wish" subscenario.
@@larryleal5008 Ah good to know 👍, checked it out and it does look really nice, they did a good job. Think it released whilst I was in the middle of this playthrough. Let's see if the upcoming official remaster emake will be as good?..
I'm emulating the game, i have it on hd 4k but i have the original Silent Hill 3 for my PS2. Even if the grafics are cancer for the eyes i love how it looks.
@@LaughingMajora yeah I've got a few, I don't play older gen games on modern screens because as you said looks awful unless you spend quite alot of money and time with upscalers, shaders, filters etc and even then a crt is still better looking
I downloaded Flycast 2.3 and Vf4 Final Tuned version B i think... It works almost perfectly on my 8 GB of RAM notebook (Windows 11 OS) at 3x or 4.5 res upscaled. This game looks better than many Xbox or GameCube ones. It could pass as an early 7th gen era game
@@LionheartMindExplosion Flycast is a Sega Naomi emulator that runs through fightcade, so any Naomi game can be played online there now I believe. Just tested out the latest version on my dog spec pc and doesn't run too bad, didn't get any matches but hopefully this weekend
Ah man, I was trying to get through that shortcut to Melve to complete the timed rescue quest but couldn't find it and just got more confused as time went on so just had to ferrystone out of there in the end. I will find that shortcut later though!
@@optimusuk you sound like me bro, I was going round in circles too and had too reset from an inn because I took too long my team messed up from getting into any and every fight so watching you play is nostalgic
Got to be careful hitting her as quest fails if you hit any human parts, that was I was being conservative fighting her then realised I also needed my pawns to stay back
I love Nina but she is too much work for not enough reward, you are winning in spite of her not cause of her and your skill combined, you winning because of your skill where other characters carry or have way better tools needed to open and mix people up
I find using her fun when I want a break from King, just need to learn some better combos so I'm not relying on throws all the time, not sure why these people turtle so much lol
Who knows maybe never, although rumoured some announcement tomorrow, highly highly doubtful though. Sega are very bad at supporting all their previous great games unfortunately.
Yeah man it's been years so forgotten most of it 😆just realised I've got the remaster on PC too so may continue the play through on that version, gonna go through all of Sudas titles
