Roma Migration started occurring during Ghaznavid Invasion of India, While slavery existed much of its support was derived from Islam& Islamic countries, its common knowledge Islamic invasion scale was so large and brutal that the huge number of people were enslaved from India which created as entire race of people.
This is great. I have since X yera Roma friends (coming from and / of living in North-Macedonia and Serbia). The Romane that they speak is a little different, but I recognice a lot of words. The difficulty is that there is not realy a general Romane, dictionairs are not to find. So it is foor not Roma people very difficult to learn Romane. An other problem is that the youngsters living in the western country's of the EU (most of them 'refugies' coming form the Balkans) go to the schools in Flanders, Holland, Germany and so on and start to forget their old language. They speek more and more in the language that they learn to write, read... Its a pitty that they so not only lose the language but also the tippical cultural herritage and traditions.
they speak gawthi gujarati which means corrupted rural gujarati, even spoken with exact same words and dialect in the smaller banjara villages of Gujarat.

You Indians read the comment of Rob b below mine written proof documenting 2000 years ago if not more proving that Roma are a lost tribe of Israel by no means related to Indians however Roma are their own race a separate race of Israel with their own language but culture similar to Jews in-laws and religious beliefs and so on don't try to take credit for the Roma people it does not belong to you Roma means our people it is our culture our language and Indians do not speak our language nor are they any part of our culture in our God is Odell the god of Israel and these are all facts
The Old Testament writes of a people chosen from a tribe of Israel who have a covenant with the gods: Genesis 49:17 -Dan will be a serpent by the way, a poisonous viper that will bite the horses' hooves along the way, and will cast them out of the rider's ways. 1 - You will be scattered throughout the land. Deuteronomy 28:64 3º - You will not find rest and you will have to flee from one country to another. Deuteronomy 28: 65-67. Jer 35: 7 Thou shalt not build a house, nor sow seed, nor blame a vineyard, nor hold it. but ye shall dwell in tents all the days, that ye may sojourn many days in the land wherein ye dwell. Jer 35: 9 Thou shalt not build houses for thy dwelling, neither shall there be no vineyard, no inheritance nor sowing. 8º - Loss of identity and separate from other tribes. Deuteronomy 29: 20-21. , Deuteronomy 28:64 And the LORD hath scattered you among all people, from the one end of the earth even to the other; Ezekiel 37:11 -And he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost. we are really cut off (Genocide for the nation). Deuteronomy 7: 6 For you are a holy people to the LORD your God.
sanskrit is ebraic dialect oldest from aramaic hebrew cananites hitites aryans writen in cuneyform spoooken orals in lingua franka of scitians shamanist, writen in vedas by brahmans budist pryest of ashoka wich come from sumer.Gypsy language is very close to oldes language in the world callled SANSKRIT. First spoken Sanskrit language was found in Siria( middle east ) . Sanskrit language know and speak only 0,02 % of people in North India ,mostly spoken by High priests of Hindu or Budha religions ,when they pray to Gods ! North India is place of mix race of people ,migrants ,thats why there are more white than in South India people. Romani people dont have Indian traditions or same religion as Indians . There is no Gypsie or romani with Hindu or budha religion now or in the past . the tradition food of romani people is not rice and curry . romani people ,with spoken romani language are mostly in every country in the wolrd .but there is no romani spoken people in India ! ROMANI people came from Mezopotania ( near Siria ) . ROmani people are mostly cristians or become muslims ,but there never been hindu or budhist before that or in the past !!!
It is not a lost language, it is actually a language from NorthWest India, spoken in different dialects corrupted by their migration movements. Don't just make videos based on random information found on internet. Do your own research, understand Gujarati, Marwari, Sindhi and Punjabi before giving in your inputs. You ended up comparing everything to Sanskrit and Hindi because of your limited knowledge. Just to give you a small example from your video Avas - to come in romani Aave chhe - to come in Gujarati Aaves - to come in rural dialect of Gujarati (gaavthi gujarati)

Dhanyawaad for this, it´s a wonderful comparison between these noble and ancient Indo-European languages, with cultures which are deeply rooted in spirituality and mysticism! Much love from Brazil!
Most of words you are telling hindi's or punjabi's are actually are of Rajasthani language. Mean Roma people have a root to Rajasthan .. cz they moved 1500 years ago so the morden form of Rajasthani and Punjabi language is become bit different but too muchh similarities can be seen till yet.
Language is a bit more complicated than that. Also, there is no such language as "Iranian". The language of Iran is Farsi. But that's a great collection of vocabulary anyway.
So many languages mixed together and none no why how and where .it is a pain in my heart to hear my people say they not no where they came from and assume we originated in India .no country is my home .do you really need to read about your history from authors and such. to forget for you is the end of your time being a gypsy .your history has been wiped away like dust .hidden under lock and key for century's .my home is where I make my fire never stay to long be gone through the forest my dogs and catupolt feed my self the poor and hungry .we welcome good people and will never turn a hungry body away .but I'm the devil to the wicked to the man who only thinks of himself who has no nature for children and the land .I've encountered many types of demons but the gypsys biggest demon is man who we love the church did see gypsys as a threat and still do for some reason not known to many .
@BadRomaMan1 see the problem with u that u think or believe that Romani are not indian But hey if u come in india then u will find that in this country every 100KM language changes so please don't compare Romani with india. Second is that iam marwari and Romani is similar to marwari (some words) which is not a coincidence also there are scientific proof that Romani people migrate from north rajasthan and punjab this is the same place where i live Yes all humans migrated from Africa and whole world is one family but we can't simply connect Japanese people with Germans there is chain like Japanese to Korean to Chinese to monogol to rusiian and so on But Romani and marwari are so far away even then we have many similar words Yes by time passes it's not as exactly as same as it should be But believe me it's same For example Tato in roamani is hot and in marwari also hot
@BadRomaMan1 again i say u to call me on whatsapp so that we can talk in our own language and can se what are similarities I will be happy to talk to your grandmother or father because they may know more words then u And yes i didn't seen your earlier message in which i was talking about girls and all

Interestingly there are many cognates between Romani language and the various iranian languages spoken in Iran, including persian. However, some of these similarities does not always and necessarily depend on loan words, from one language to another, because these similarities is mostly due to the common Indo-iranian origin of both iranian and indo-iranian languages. I give you some example of the similarities between romani and iranian languages spoken in Iran, including ancient iranian language such as Avestan and Old-persian. * Tatá [father] - In Old-persian language it's also "*Tâta-", in gorani(hawrami) language spoken in the kurdish dominated regions of northwestern Iran it's "Tâta" / "Tâtâ" aswell meaning father. In some regions of Southeastern Iran there I come from, we use etc. "Dâdâ" for older sister, and "Dâtu" meaning aunt, mother-in-law. and "Dâtî/dâtêî" = Father's wife. * Upral [Up] = In persian "Bâlâ" in some regions of southeastern Iran "Barâ". * Trush [thirst] - In persisn "Teshna/teshneh". * Shax [vegetables] - In The rural areas of southeastern Iran we use 'Shâk" meaning shots, dry branches from tree, in persian: Shâxa/shâxeh. Original message From : dale.farm@btinternet.com Date : Hi Jason, Have to put it this way because of what we're doing to build a Roma Nation Mandate. Persons of mixed Romani and other [Mikmaq etc] can if they are interested be included as Voters. Each will need to say so and provide an email address. Having said this, we need just as much to have alliances with people, especially those fighting land issues. We were allied to First Nation organizations and flew their flag during the ten year Siege of Dale Farm [which involved a riot police assault using Tasers in 2011] Brexit has caused us to postpone the 11th Congress.
