skull doesn't look like a trex, its stance is a bit too crouching for a trex, and its metatarsal is just disturbing!

Not crazy about most zoos either but they are the last survivable place for many animals species, unfortunately. This is why I hope mankind NEVER gets to colonize any distant planets with innocent nascent life existing on them.

@dali366 sorry the pevis (not femur) seems to have webbing etc
@dali366
@dali366 12 лет назад
@S0XF0X I believe the whole posture is wrong. If you look closely the femur seems to have webbing on either side but not in the middle where the head of the femur is situated. Surely the weight of the animal would have put stress on that point. I think the natural pelvic webbing suggested trex walked more upright as well as crouching down to eat, rest and sleep by using the opposite side of the webbing.

I would guess it is an Anna's/Costa's hybrid. It has the color of a Costa's and the song is a simplified Anna's song (Costa's have a much simpler song than Anna's).

Graceful and cute from some angles, a Cthulhoid monster from others.

Hmm, his posture is a bit slouchy for a rex. The tail is held too low, and his neck should be picked up just a bit. Great display though, I love it!

So gorgeous! That bear looks so relaxed, enjoying playing with that ball! The bear just waited until it was perfectly aimed correctly to jump right onto the ball! They're really very intelligent. May they multiply and have many cubbies! I hope they let them mate regularly!

Looks like a Costa's Hummingbird (Calypte costae) to me, both in color of gorget and crown, and the relatively impish size; the sound is also not like that of the Anna's.
