Will it work on a 2011 Ford Ranger? I found out the Mastercool 81490 will NOT work on both the low and high side ports even though it has the standard 13 and 16 mm ports. The tool will not grab onto the Schrader valves.
I'm a bit confused as to the sizing of hoses as it seems they are measured by the hard line going into them???. I need to repair a 3/4" OD power Steering hose. Would this work for this hose? The hard line going into the hose is 3/8".

I own one of the older versions of this tool without the die stop. Can the newer yoke be purchased separately and retrofitted onto my older model. I love my older model and haven't used it a ton and it would be awesome to upgrade to the improved design without having to buy another tool.
I take another die not being used and turn it sideways and use that as a stop. But i agree, they always come up w a better way after you spend a small fortune on a tool

@@derrickenbuenosaires yeah I know . Nervous about the touch screen sub zero. Excited about the ease of recalibration. Plus saving fav refrigerants to a shorter list . I'll know more in a month or two , getting into super evacuation, and sub 500 microns leaks matter
