I like this rendition! It's dreamy and serene. I think the piano accompaniment is smooth and jazzy. I imagine it is a nice tune to drive to. I will find out soon because I have ordered a copy of Mike Love's "12 Sides of Summer." Rockaway Beach, originally done by The Ramones, is on that album too. How cool! I wish more people made music like the Beach Boys and The Ramones! To whomever reads this, have yourself a good one! =)

Mike Love is a horrible person, worse singer today and is a hack - you can tell that he has stolen tricks from Brian Wilson to make this arrangement. Having said that, this is an interesting arrangement - Love should be complimented for not screwing it up too badly.
You're right in that it's a Brian-insprired arrangement. The Master WOULD do it like this. But since he didn't, his Kokomo-crapped-out cousin is doing it for him!
A complete insult to George Harrison. An awful Kokomization of a classic, great song. Only the ego infested mike love would do something as stupid as this. Horrible.
