I used some 100lb fluoro leaders on my most recent fishing trip (pike fishing in Manitoba, about 2 weeks ago)...they were fantastic....much better to handle compared to steel and titanium that I used in the past....it's all I'll use now. Got some terminal tackle and line to tie my own.
i learned something from first nation people, i go near the shore and i take a peace of wood or a branch and i beat the water, i make a lots of noise for a good 30seconds and then i cast, i catch bigger ones by doing this. the big one are curious specially if there hungry. try it you will see. it works for bass too. this is no bs
Best day ever for me and my friend 6-8:30 am. We got over 50. At least 15 broke off 18-34 inches most 26-30.. most on live creek chubs I got 27 pike and one bowfin !!!!!one day before the full moon in June !!
Hia mate, I hope you enjoyed your day. I think I've fished near/around there, too. We used silver lures and did quite well. We caught a lot of mackerel, Pollock, and Wrasse, and I caught a Garfish. My dad fished on the bottom and caught Dogfish and Eels. You really need to respect the sun on days like you've fished. Although a pain, suncream is a must, vital! Thank you for your film. Ian.

There’s no excuse for using barbed trebles for this type of fishing. I used to do it myself when I was young and stupid, and the damage that hooks like this cause to small trout is horrendous - the treble would often be really difficult to remove, and often caused severe, probably lethal, injury to the fish. Treble hooks should be banned for this type of fishing, and only barbless hooks should be used.

I wanted to start fishing with a Baitcaster but don’t want to spend a lot of money. If u don’t ever use that rod and reel do u reckon I could have it.if not that’s fine.😅
Great little combo, bought my daughter this when she was 4 and she's caught Rainbow and Brown trout up to 3lb on it 😀 have now got her the Okuma Pink Pearl V2 reel as an upgrade for a better drag system. Easy little rod to cast and great for kids to learn Fishing.
I'd double-check a certain competitors' measurements. He's proven he cheats for social media fame and financial gain, by folding the measuremats to make fish appear longer.

For those looking now in 2024. Google lazy kruus. You remove a ball and get it suspending. This is a proper great bait. The lazy jerk distance is my best performing jekrbait but this 155 is not far behind. Good to have some original and some modified. Just love it! Cast really good too with its shape. Havent had these hook up problems, sad he had it as it is a really good jerkbait/swimbait as it is swimming in a S when straight retrieved.
If youre taregting pike they should go for anything, if you dangle a bit of fish on a hook long enough theyr will eat it, i just wish there was a way to avoid pike and id be happier using flouro i just want to catch lots of little fish without the risk of being bitten off
