Been searching for this one for a couple days. I knew exactly what I was looking for, but forgot the artist and track title. But when those pianos came bursting through, I knew I found it. Unless that is of course there's another musique concrete composition by Vladamir or someone else that has those same piano sequences. but I think this is the one.
Ein deutscher Komponist, der zu dieser Zeit in Nazideutschland gelebt und gewirkt hat, also sich zumindest mit den Nazis arrangiert haben muss, schreibt ein Werk, das in puncto Originalität, Schwung und Rhythmik fast von Leonard Bernstein komponiert worden sein könnte. Verrückt.
Perhaps it is ironic that an early 20th Century Mexican composer had a better grasp of the Greek modes and Sonata form than almost anyone else in his generation. Bravo for a wonderful performance of this indlcredible piece.
