Bro your fine with minor mods they wont be talking ....everybody got something say till your door are blown off by a honday .....you keep doin your shit brother !! Thats what its all about is what you love
The torque falls after 5.500rpm, so it probably doesn't make sense to go beyond that as long as you're still accelerating, yet most automatic gearboxes don't seem to take that into account. Am I missing something?!
@@MADDGAMMER Which unit are you using? Your formula doesn't quite add up with Nm. For example, the 320i has a max Torque of 300Nm at 4.000rpm, which according to your formula should lead to 228hp, yet BMW says Max HP is 184 at 5.000 to 6.500rpm.
@@sassuki I'm using Si units so NM and metric HP. I made a mistake in the formula its 7127 and not 5252 for Si units. my mistake :). And the max HP is not necessarily developed during the max torque rpm span. the 184hp are made between 5000 and 6000rpm meaning at 6000rpm the corresponding torque is 219NM.
@@sassuki Essentially a engine with more torque just means that you don't have to rev as high to get a higher % of you max engine output (HP). In other words you don't have to shift down(or as many gears) if you want to accelerate a bit harder.
What matters also is what rpm you drop to after shifting, redlining is pretty much always fastest, usually even in diesels which people tell to shift early on.
About 7.5sec without considering speedometer margin of error, so probably around 8sec. Not sure what kind of performance these were meant to have when new, but compared to the Camry, it leaves a bit to be desired. Looks like the gearing isn't optimized for acceleration.
v6 accords haul ass, i think the 9th gen ones are a bit nicer due to an updated interior but almost 300 hp stock on a honda is amazing. the v6 accords will always be one of my favorite cars
Where is this car from? I have an 08 accord v6 and the dash is sort of different. This is the first model I’ve seen where the speedometer is in km and there is a mini digital display in the center.
@@josephlara5729 this accord was not made In The US, Either Europe or Asia. The 2012 coupes had shifters for exl v6. 2008 had shifters to in other countries
@@jls.mp4 Yep. Super slow for a v6 with almost 300hp. The Camry is definitely faster, i've seen some tests with a gps device and it does 0 to 100 in about 6.9 sec.
I was gonna say... I don’t own one, but haven’t seen one with paddles, there isn’t even a proper manual mode on the shifter, it’s the old fashion P R N D3 2 1 Pattern on the shifter.
Mayasoob, please mention this is Petrol or Diesel. Appears to be Petrol as I can see RPM reaching 6K and D mode. EcoSport does not have Automatic Diesel in India. Have you also tried 0-100 on S mode?
+Akhil P Walia It is a petrol. I haven't tried 0-100 in S mode but I don't think it will make a difference at full throttle, but at part throttle it is more responsive and holds gears longer.
