Hi mate my mirage 2000 edf for some reason is 40mm shorter than it should be. The wing span is right and so is the width. Not sure why. Will the CG on the plans still be right? Also what should the throws on the elevons be? Thanks mate.
Sounds like you printed your plans out ‘scaled to fit’ rather than 100% plan size. The cg will have changed by the same percentage as your plane. Tye throws will be the same.
@@jetworks Hi mate thanks for the reply. I printed at 100% tiled, Everything is the correct size apart from length. I think I glued the front section of the fuselage 40mm to far back. So should i move the CG 40mm forward or back from the original CG on the plans?? Thanks mate.
Hi ya, brilliant machine which I'm just about to start building. Where did you purchase the 9mm dia carbon tubes for the wings and 1mm x 6mm strip for the fin from?
The x fly edf and esc combo I ordered has all black wires. It didn't have instruction on what wires to connect to each other. Do you know how I would do that? If you have any suggestions I'd really appreciate it. I'm kind of new at building with the wiring of the power system

@@Shad3yB and these are the paper plans I expand to 109% when I print them out, correct? Also, sorry if this sounds dumb, but it’s my first foam build…..can I use 6mm laminated foam board or does it have to be ‘Depron’?
@@tysonhaas179 yeah buddy enlarge the paper plans to 109% , building with foam board will be fine but it is slightly heavier than depron but it will work just the same

i wanna build a mini version, this is so cool! what glue do you use for foam im always stuck with that because i dont know what glue works best for styro foams

Hey man, this plane looks fantastic ! I'm currently building it with a 70mm fan. I'm looking for the Stl files of the: Thrust tube, intake tube and the nozzle for the 70mm version. On the website there are only for the 64mm fan... Could you pls help me with that? ;)
