Hello so I filmed this video almost 2 years ago, way before the controversy around Mielle - I can see this video is now going viral. I want to make it really clear that if your hair and scalp is behaving weirdly after using any of their products DISCONTINUE USE! And go to your medical professional to examine your scalp and help solve any issues you’re having. It’s so sad to see everyone having problems with their products and I wish you all the best 🤍
Hi, what do you say about soya bean oil? It seems to be 98percent of the product being first on the list. You can also tell by the colour and viscosity. Soya bean is only extracted using the chemical called hexane. Soya bean destroys vitamin E so cancels out any of the 2percent of the other 20plus goodness. What say you on this?
When I was natural I still used the method of wash twice with a clarifying shampoo then twice with a moisturising one, then followed up with a light conditioner. It really helped get my natural hair suuuuper clean and lightweight. Give it a try 🥰
Hope it helps! I’m very minimal when it comes to my locs because I’m really scared of build up, so even filming this I kept thinking I don’t use much but I actually do just light 😂
When I first started my locs journey I was strict and did it every 4-6 weeks, now I’m in my second year I stretch it to 4-8 weeks depending on my mood - if you want a more detailed video on this let me know!
Thank you all sm for watching 🤍 - video on my recommended locs products to be build up free is now live 🎉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lzC3VLpSdNw.htmlsi=p6Wn_x9HC6qQ63Bi
Thank you sm for watching 🤍 Want to know what products I use on my locs? For a build up free locs journey? That video is now live on my channel 🎉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lzC3VLpSdNw.htmlsi=p6Wn_x9HC6qQ63Bi
thanks everyone for the love doesn't go unnoticed! I have a 2.5 year locs update live on my channel now if you want to see how my locs have changed since this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s21RhElejDU.html&ab_channel=UNDRTHEDRYR 💕
REal thicc real good locsssss. :) Personally gonna let my hair be, I shouldn't stress about flatness since I don't think I can be bothered much about it. Your hair looks so good, congradulations.
thank you so much! honestly don't stress about thick locs, they will change and develop over time, most of the flat locs i had in the starter phase formed into cylinder locs, and other not so much... plus flat locs give character imo
I am glad for you, I am in my 8th month into my loc journey and the struggle is real. This is my third set. I had my first set for 7 years so I need that mentality back 😆besides washing them, ignoring them for a while.
That first year was a real test for me too, you got this though!! Can’t wait to see where I’ll be at in 7 years if I can have enough patience to wait it out 😂
@@undrthedryr You are already two years in, you can do it! After three years they will be awesome and they will grow faster. The first three years are always a test with the shrinkage.
There is nothing like starting your locs yourself. I cant wait until my locs get to where I can start exploring different styles. I'm still in that beginning stage where I just look at them and they unravel lol.
This was amazing and I like how big they are and keep up the good work oh what product you used on your locs to twist them did you use Jamaican mango and lime locking cream wax
@@JaggerL0c0sorry for the wait, the video on the products that I use is now live 🎉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lzC3VLpSdNw.htmlsi=p6Wn_x9HC6qQ63Bi
My idoL....l love this Lady and all her songs right from the begining when I first saw her performance in " Sister Act " with Whoopy Goldberg in 1992/93 ? Till now.....Still looking Great!!!!!
Can’t control quality of tap water unless you have a water filter - I’m at the point where I don’t have that, so anything within my control that I can change like switching to distilled water I will. Distilled water doesn’t have a lot of the harsh minerals that tap water does
Wow, congratulations like your locs are magnificent amazing wonderful thick, big and perfect, and I’m glad I found your Channel subscribed and you was in my recommendation with this video.
And they also gave this hairstyle to Miles' little sister in the comic books I was like,"Why the heck would they start her off with that hairstyle?" To top it off it looked bad because half of her head was shaved off with the Killmonger dreads.
Yep it is true. I did realize this till I watched another video on this topic and....WOW. Its really pathetic yall. They could have come up with something way better than that suit and that hairstyle for Spider Man and other franchisees.
stop this nonsese, because its never enough. screaming "there is no representation" then when represented, "there are no hair styles" then when new hairstyles are introduced, "these are afro typical" what is it that gives satisfaction ????? can we not all just enjoy games for what they are? do we always have to see ourselves in video games ??? thats why we cant have nice things
This "nosese" is asking for more than the bare minimum. No one is 'screaming' about anything. Sometimes people want to be represented more accurately in a game- why do you have a problem with that? When Tekken 8 came out, did you have an issue with the many customization options? No? What about Soul Calibur's system? No? So why is it black people asking to have something that looks more accurate makes you upset? You literally don't lose anything.
We are not asking for unreasonable things AT ALL. In video games with customizable characters, there is always a plethora of options for straight and wavy hair types. However, when you look to options for 3a-4c hair types there is a VERY limited selection. Let’s take Nintendo Mii’s as an example. There are SO many options for straight and wavy hair, but when looking for 3a-4c options there is the bare minimum of options. This wouldn’t be an issue if the hair style options for all types of hair have the same quantity and they are all very typical hair styles for that texture, but we don’t see that. It seems like there is only about 1 black hair style for every 10 none black hairstyles in these video games.
it's not for representation, it's for diversity and fairness. how come white/fair-skinned characters can have such a variety of hairstyles in video games, but not darker skinned characters? the high top swooped dreads appear in every male black character. the 3c-4c hair appears in every black female character. even the afro appears sometimes, but is misused and does not represent black people in a good way. not only hairstyles, but also religious headwraps/headpieces. when was the last time you saw a hijabi girl/a hijab option in a video game?
@@undrthedryr your journey is unique because your locs are unique. I watch a lot of these videos because I’m only 2 months into my journey but I can appreciate all the unique beautiful ways that everyone’s hair develops on their journey. You gave me a lot to think about in terms of how to style and manage my hair and whether or not I’ll do color. This was helpful! Thanks so much ❤️🫶🏽
