They key you saw in the sandbox is a real key you can find the whiteboard tells you where it is and the location of the treasure chest where that key goes to. There are several chests around the yard and the most valuable one of all is on top of the picnic table. BUT you need to find the key.....
My suggestion is to get the black anthill chip. Just a suggestion. that wat you can unlock the key to get the weapons you already have the blueprint to make.
Yo dude huuuge tip is to get the the coaltana recipe at the bbq spill but you'll have to fight a bunch of ladybird larvas cause it's a like a mixr type of thing and your need some nice armor The katana is a spicy element blade and auto cooks aphids and weevils and gnats when you kill them
oh, one more thing, if you get the badge off the fallen (somewhere in the yard - like say cave of the milk molars) AND you wore red ant armor all three pieces you can get up to 44 planks and stems.
TIP: for the bows and crossbow. If you pull the trigger THEN IMMEEIANTLY click the button to cancel (right mouse button to shoot then left mouse button to cancel) you can turn it into an automatic weapon and rapid fire.
if you want to kill a orb weaver or get a lady bug killed hop on the lady bug's back as a orb weaver is attacking you it will hit the lady bug and they will start fighting the lady bug can kill 1 orb weaver but not 2
played this alot in the past, just came back to it, loved playing the sniper class, but found out that the dev's removed the ammo fabricators and that just destroyed the game for me. just not fun anymore always running out of ammo. Moving on, this game is dead to me.
when you level up dont forget to ping ie middle mouse button them to highlight them that increases damage against pinged bugs, the smg is wortheless so dont use that use the regular rifle or the carbine.
