@@War-thunder5 I kept starting new accounts so I have up to around 7.0 in those accounts. Nothing top tier though. I play my old accounts when I spin good boosters so every now and then I will post a 6.0+ ground realistic game. There are a few on the channel if you want to check them out.
I don't think the Type 89 guns are as bad as everyone makes out. Their rate of fire, 900 rpm, is the same as the Vickers E but the velocity of each round is 810 m/s. That is 80 m/s faster than the .303 used in the Vickers. Mind you, the Type 89 is a derivative of the Vickers E but the Vickers is the follow up to the Maxim gun which went into service in 1866. A bit of trivia: my Grandpa, an English WW1 veteran, served in the Canadian army during WW2 training crews on the Vickers. Another interesting fact: in a test a Vickers gun fired a total of one million rounds stopping only to replace barrels (100).
@@kimjanek646 hey kimjanek! It will be a couple of weeks. I am on vacation and have mostly arcade cued up while I am gone. RB is setup for every 4 days now. When I get back I will work on the normal lineup of 2 RB games and 1 arcade.
Hey Mike, it is luck of the draw. At 1.3 I started to see a lot of air domination maps, but at 1.0 it appears that you can only get ground target maps. Even in ground target maps I concentrate on planes. I do not get enjoyment from killing an NPC driving in a slow predictable pattern. I prefer to play against other players. Cheers!
Great video, thank you brother. I'm so glad you are doing this. Everyone wants to get to the next level so they blow past the low tier stuff as fast as they can. There is a lot of good fun vehicles/plane's in the lower tiers to enjoy. I know I did anyway. Thank you
Thank you brother. I started in Air Arcade with a joystick back in 2016, I was so bad lol. I would come in 13 place so many times I was going to change my name to "13 place" lol.
lol! I was horrible too. I used to put my smoke on every game in air arcade to try and draw attention. I thought it would make me better. Instead, I just got shot down a lot. 🙂
Hey Iron, The main thing to focus on is crew points. Don't move down the tech tree too soon or you will be behind your competition in crew points. Also, check out my other videos! There are some consistent fundamentals that I reinforce each time. As for my play, it is just experience and having great players help me. I have been playing since 2015. The reason for my channel is to help others so please keep the questions coming!
I don't understand why people look down on air arcade so much. It does encourage a different style of flying but its much more fun to be able to respawn. My one bug is that the target lead indicator is never quite right.
I think they look down on arcade because it allows players to do unbelievable maneuvers (i.e. flaps never rip, ammo reloads in the air). For the lead indicator you need to aim ahead of it. On it usually hits the back half of a plane and behind it does not hit.
He Neckar, In realistic enemies are marked at about 5km or if your teammates can see them. One caveat, if they are directly above or below you they are not spotted until you are closer.
From what I've read the Furys had the same Vickers .303 guns as their WW1 predecessors. Even though the Vickers K was inadequate against even early biplanes it was kept because it was easy to harmonize for firing through a propeller. The Fury was good when it came out in 1931 but was hopelessly outclassed by 1936. Apparently the in game flight model reflects these shortcomings accurately. Sucks to be British. Crappy planes and warm beer.
I like your videos. Calm, good commentary, good player, like the screen format maximizing theater mode. Keep it up! Glad youtube suggests tiny channel sometimes
I've been eyeing this plane for a while now. Currently playing CFS 2 on my old laptop but looking for a console or PC to play W T. Unfortunately, many players don't appreciate the qualities of the pre/early-war French aircraft. Vive la France! 🗼
No armor is an understatement. We're talking 1.0 after all. There are armored cars with 8mm of armor or light tanks with 15mm. This one is nearly 20mm APCR proof from the front :O It's super OP for 1.0 and could easily be 1.7 or 2.0. The .50cal alone would be enough to be competetive at 1.0 to shoot down planes or hit tanks from turret down positions.
Nice vid, I have a demand or a suggestion, depends how you see it. Could you play some higher BR planes? I think the 3.0->6.0 braket would be really enjoyable. Also you could make some more “dedicated” tutorials in parallel with you’re actual content, for example a tutorial about stall tactics X)
Thanks Eureka! Higher BR vehicles will take some time. The point of this channel (currently) is to show the best way i know to have a free-to-play account and still have fun. That means spending some time at low BRs to build your crew points before tackling the higher BR's.
